Sue is so hospitable and friendly and made our weekend feel that extra bit special. We stayed in room 4 which is furnished to a good standard and has a large comfy bed. The breakfast is something to behold! Location is also good; not far from the beach and restaurants but far away enough to not be annoyed by the hussel and bustle.

It was not a great scape for us! The lady was so cheerful by phone when I booked the place. It was beautifully decorated and clean when we got there. However, considering that some of the activities to do in Swanage are for family days out, I do not think the management is child friendly. I booked the place for two nights to visit Dorset area and to go to Carfle castle by the steam train, but on last day our child was not feeling well and we decided to not to go to the train but have breakfast on time downstairs (one floor down). As our son was ill, he waited for us in the room. Sue, was not happy at us because she though it was not safe to leave him alone and complaint with us because of it. It surprise us because we never showed any sign of careless or misbehaving, in fact, we were confident about it and we knew that it is not necessarily to overprotect somebody without reason. Summarizing, the management is not prepare for families and the lady's personality clearly showed it. It was not a good time there for us
