Always great service in a beautiful old pub with great food.
There's a good choice on the menu offering something different. Food is reasonably priced. The restaurant had a cosy feeling and was busy when we visited. We were welcomed and felt comfortable as the staff were wearing visors. We had an enjoyable meal and the food was good. Definitely worth a visit and we hope to return soon.
Friendly staff, massive portions. Traditional pub cuisine. Only downside - Christmas themed decor, staff outfits, and music in October... a little so early in the year. Visited on Halloween, would have been great to see indulge the day.
Great food. We did the two course deal for £13.99. A fair few choices to be had on this deal. Our group had Hunters chicken, Cajun burger and halloumi and chips. All lovely. As desserts, we had Bakewell tart and two Eton mess. All was beautiful and such good value for money.
If you like pubs that are located near a canal in Uxbridge then look no further. I had the beef pie and a beer and to be fair the pie was really delicious. If you are like me and enjoy mash then 100% upgrade to the cheesy mash. You're welcome.
Had the lamb shoulder. Very tasty. A few more vegetables would have been great. Only problem is that every pub in the area serves the same menu. There is no reason to choose one pub from another. Be creative with your menu. A blackboard with 3 special dishes of the week maybe?
Refurbished and looks great. Food was amazing and the manager was super friendly and made the experience even better. Will definitely visit again soon! Thankyou for a great evening.
