It was really nice to have Sunday roast!! But my recommendation will be “Half Chicken Roast” as it was well roasted! But not for the “Beef Roast”, it’s not really well roasted. It’s like eating steaks medium rare! The services is very good. They are very humble and helpful.
Great food, great staff, relaxed atmosphere.
Although this pub serves food it is still more of a drinking establishment thank goodness. Low beamed ceilings, wood paneling what more could you want.
Mediocre fish and chips but the pub is cozy. The slot machine gives a nice contrast to the wooden furniture. I was disappointed to not see a poor sod wasting his money there. You need to try the IPA there. It's divine.
This was my first time in the queens head. I met some friends for lunch, I couldn't believe the value for money. I had the 3 cheese toastie, which comes with salad, and a bowl of chips and a drink all for just under £5.40. The food came hot and very tasty. I have found a new place to eat.
Fabulous home cooked food, nothing frozen. Excellent friendly staff. Highly recommended
Normally this pub is amazing - but if it’s a Sunday roast - forget this place - they served cold Pre cooked meat / roast potatoes that seemed a week old and it was just sad .... great pub - good food - other than Sunday roast - should have taken a picture.... it’s NOTHING like what you see in previous reviews
Queens Head pub does a great fish n chips on Fridays. Lovely atmosphere and good staff. Very helpful and friendly.
Excellent spot for a decent pint and bite to eat, what pubs should be like. Hope to be back again soon
