Up line, down line, platforms serving both, fairly typical of a smallish railway station. Didn't see any facilities , perhaps because there weren't any. It's a good job I needed want any refreshments 'cos there wasn't any available. In mitigation I had an enjoyable time having a laugh with the bods working there, including two security peeps. They helped me to catch a train earlier than the one I was booked on. Thank you security peeps.
Good looking station. Seating not adequate though, and wheelchair/ pushchair access can be a bit tricky, especially for the platform of trains heading into Birmingham. Staff is very helpful
I made a booking many weeks ago with the station for 8 people threw open table l was call yesterday by the manger saying that l had now longer got a table has they over booked tables just not on not great customer care all they seem to be bothered about is bottomless bruches yesterday l had to fine somewere in Sutton to host 8 people Not good so think twice when booking with station all l was trying to do was support places in Sutton
No toilet facilities on this busy local station, not even disabled toilets.nRTI screens normally working.nStaff are helpful.nCar park always full by 0930, though there is always plenty of disabled parking available.nLift access to both platforms.nTicket machines on both platforms to.nCar park attendant works mornings
A nice place to live, but the town centre is becoming a bit of a ghost town - lots of empty shop units, but no shortage of options for coffee.
