Peaceful and tranquil place god bless all that have been laid to rest there . My dad included .
I went today to put flowers for mom's birthday and I was shocked to see that the grasses has not been cut over a period of time. And the book off memories not open on my mom's date . It's been in the book two years and I haven't seen it yet ? But woodlands crems grass has been cut all though the lock down .and we have to pay every 10 years to keep a little curb stone ! But woodlands is a one off payment and it's a lot better there ?
I have been to visit my fathers stone today and someone has taken all of the vases that were behind for flowers! My family had had them done personalised for our father so we can fill them on our visits. I am deeply unhappy that these have been removed!!
I’ve been visiting the crem for 14 years now and over the years I’ve noticed that the grounds are not as well maintained as they used to be. I’ve noticed this more so by the water/pond where the trees are overgrown and intertwine with each other. This is stopping the light/sun getting through to dry out the grass, resulting in it remaining damp, cold and not a very pleasant visit when going to see loved ones. Maybe it’s the right time of the year to cut everything back before the leaves start to grow and the trees blossom. It would make visits a whole lot better and a much more pleasant experience. Thank you.
Today is my sisters’s Anniversary and I always dread going to Sutton Coldfield Crematorium. The area where we scattered my Sister’s and Dad’s ashes is always overgrown and neglected and it really upsets me when I see the state of it. I have made several complaints to the office staff, once they put bark down. I have even taken my own gardening tools and weeded and tidied the area myself, because I know how it must upset other people who have loved ones in the same area. The area is under the big tree opposite the pond. My sister loved her garden and she was such a special person.
Had a number of funerals here to attend. They've always been clean and tidy, well organised and friendly. Nice, tranquil grounds
What a dreadful place, arrived after a long journey, to be told I was to early and go away and come back nearer time, 45 mins early but in car. . I couldn't quite understand gentleman as he was chewing a sweet, realise a bit early but making everything so difficult and in such un pleasant circumstances. Dreadful and thank you Sutton Coldfield.!

Had no problems at my mum’s cremation which happened a few weeks ago, we have decided to have a kerb stone by the pillars as we need wheelchair access for my father Also no problems with previous cremations of my nan’s and grandad from years ago which had ashes scattered on the front lawn but decided then that we wouldn’t have anything to mark the ashes so just put flowers on grass
Have been to Sutton Crematorium many times over the last 15 years or so, and always been pleased with the arrangements, though I assume a lot also depends on which Funeral Directors you choose.
