Sushi World

Just went today thinking we could sit down but found out it was only takeaway. The guys let us pull out some chairs and we ended up eating the best sushi we ever had. Quick service, fresh, well presented and so tasty!! Owners were so welcoming and accommodated us. Also the only Halal sushi place in London. We definitely going back.

Best Small local sushi kitchen. Best quality and presentation, consistently excellent. A bit of a wait for delivery but that’s a good sign! Call 5.30pm to place your order as it gets busy! So good, week in week out - forget Yo!, Wasabi, Sainsburys, M&S - Sushi World is the real deal and value for money. I chose to order from here based on the strong rating on just eat and the decent prices. Unfortunately the food didn't live up to the ratings. When the order arrived it came with a leaflet for "curry world" 1st red flag, I'll get back to that. I ordered the chicken katsu curry and chicken ramen. The chicken in the Katsu curry tasted weird, like it had gone off or was stale. The ramen what I was most looking forward to, just seemed like noodles had been thrown into broth what was hot water with soy sauce and chicken pieces. Tasted nothing like a traditional ramen. None of the food was finished. My disappointment brought me online to check reviews and the address. Turns out curry world and sushi world share the same address and it's not the first time based on reviews that they've presented under a different name. It puts into question the authenticity of their 'japanese' cuisine and pontentially explain why their ramen tasted nothing like the ramen I've had from other Japanese restaurants.

Terrible experience. Ordered for delivery and waited for over 3 hours, called several times and was met with a “5 more minutes” each time or they hang up the phone on you. The driver even had the audacity to mark as delivered 45 minutes before they arrived so I couldn’t even cancel it. It’s a shame because the food was quite good, but at that point it was 11pm and we weren’t really in the mood anymore. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again. A word of advice for you Sushi World, hire some new delivery drivers and treat your customers with some respect.

Best sushi I ever had. Really deserved 5* Well made, biggest salmon pieces I've ever seen on sushi. Springrolls was delicious too. All together generous potions and prices very well.Recommended dishesSushi

The sushi was amazing!! I’ve been ordering from here for years now and have always had great service and I’d highly recommend anyone to try the Katsu curry. Yum

First time ordering from here and food was amazing all tasted fresh. Ordered chicken Katsu curry, poke bowl & edamame beans 10/10. Food arrived on time

Food arrived 2 hrs after order, more than 1hr over "latest arrival". On the 4th call promised a discount on the order but was charged the full price on Uber Eats. Every time I called, 5mins away... 20mins later 5mins away. Use their own drivers who use cars, so any traffic issues really delay deliveries. 2hrs though? After saying the manager would call me back and did not, offered 20% discount off next order. Then get told the reason for the delay was an Uber strike in Hartfordshire and Luton, not London!!, but they use their own drivers!!

Worst sushi I have ever had. The rice was over cooked and stodgy, the ramen was like watery soy soup. It is overpriced and not good!! Although the delivery driver was v friendly. Would not advise eating here!
