Incredible 7-seat gem of a place run by husband and wife who could not be more friendly and fun, providing not only amazing sushi among the best I’ve ever had but also teaching us all so much about the food and Japanese culture more broadly. My favourite Japanese restaurant in London. The food and sake there were amazing. The booking is very difficult as they only have 7 seating and two time slots each day in the evening only. Dietary restrictions: They do not cater for any dietary requirements as the chief decided on the menu.

We went to Sushi Tetsu on a Thursday evening after booking online. It was soo incredible. The 7-person seating wasn’t intimidating with Chef Tetsu and his wife putting everyone at ease; we laughed lots and everyone shared their experiences of Japan. The food was beautiful and the sake pairing thoughtful. Expensive but worth it. Thank you for a great time!!
Some of the best fish you were ever taste. Along with the fish, the highlight of the experience was the warm and hospitable atmosphere created by the chef and his wife. They are incredibly accommodating hosts and made us feel right at home while watching the chef hand-make every single piece. An unforgettable evening!
