Great prices and very quick to sort out locks and keys
Always helpful and knowledgeable. Good selection of locks and safes in store and helped me out with a stuck electronic safe. Had it open in 5 minutes. Good advice on a better quality mechanical safe to avoid battery issues in future

Had an issue with UPVC door mechanism. Took it in and they got it working again there and then. No fuss, no attempt to make me buy new. Very happy.
Excellent service fast friendly and efficient. Only one thing he needs to clean the inside of his van.
Generally speaking, twice that I had spoken to them for their services: at first it's not very welcoming. Both times felt patronised and wanting to just hang up the phone. Personally, I won't be ever using them going forward nor recommending. I think the attitude is really, really poor and outdated. Reluctant to solve the problem. Made to feel like, both times: you are screwed!!! Rather, first time I fixed the problem myself after speaking to them. Second time, I went back to the door supplier to sort the issue. They could've done it if they could be bothered. They could do with a training course on customer service. Really disappointed as I like to support my locals.
Many thanks Mark for an exceptional service when I visited your shop on 17 Mar 2021. You picked a lock on an old tin box and made two new keys for it. You are a very decent person and a Master of your trade. I thoroughly recommend South Wales Locksmiths in Newport. George Bartlett
Have been here a few times. Very friendly staff and helpful. Shop was clean and well laid out. Will be coming back here for my locks and keys again. Keys worked first time no problems. Much rather professionals than use Timpsons who employ ex-cons. Would never trust Timpsons with house and door keys.
