Hadn't been here for years but it's a 2 minute walk, the weekend has been frantic and I was hungry so gave it a go. To cut a long story short, was it the best Singapore Chow Mein and Crispy Beef in the world?... Probably not... Was it the best Singapore Chow Mein and Crispy Beef for a tenner that was twice as much food as one person needed?... Definitely a competitor in this category. This place is really good, especially considering the price, staff are nice people too... Deserves better than its current score
Very surprised to read bad reviews, used this place far a while now since I first discovered it. Best Chinese I've found for a while. They actually use real meat not the rubbish water and fat injected stuff sold by the suppliers in Newport that import from Holland! Always polite and on time and good food in my experience

worse food ever. ordered beef chow mein and a beef curry with fried rice it was disgusting the beef in both were pure grissel will pass it on to food standards on Monday. the very rude Chinese woman thinks she is buying rump steak what a fool. really would give no stars if poss. save your money go some where else were customers are respected and chefs know what they are cooking
Not very nice had special curry plus special rice plus fried rice was very salty which isn't no good for my husband with hight blood pressure or for young children. Sweet and sour sauce taste more like mango sauce heated up. Chicken balls the batter was very greasy. Won't be having from here again.
I don't think a one star really goes far enough in saying just how bad this food was. Brown shades of ketchup. I have never ever had Chinese so bad, even at a bargain all you can eat in Cuba.
The one star is generous to say the least I would never order food from here again it was inedible and when I rang up straight away to complain the man on the phone asked me what he could do about it!!!!! Shocking!!!Do not buy food from here disgusting and really bad quality!
Orderd food from here last night and the food was absolutely desgusting bbq sauce was like water runny and no taste chicken chow mein was rubbery and tasted terrible chucked the whole meal in tbe bin waste of £20 will not be ordering from here again
Always have Chinese from here never again!! Just had delivery food is disgusting waste of 20odd quid cos all went in bin! Stay well clear of this place
