I recently purchased goat meat and I am extremely disappointed with the quality. The meat was mostly bones with very little flesh, and even after boiling for an hour, it did not become tender. This is unacceptable for a business that claims to provide fresh and high-quality products. I expected much better and will not be returning. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their standards.
Good shop for asian or indian items. You will find plenty of collection including paratha, bangladeshi fish, puri, sweet, halal beef, chicken, lamb, most type of rice, spices! Often go there for these. Price is reasonable. Shop can be better organized with more space for movement of customers. Bengali pithas are unavailable -2 star for this! But you will find different types of sweets.
Super Asia Stores is fantastic! They have a wide variety of Asian groceries, fresh produce, and spices. The prices are reasonable, and the staff are always helpful and friendly. It's a one-stop shop for all your Asian cooking needs. Highly recommended!
Asian/Indian meat shop. They have produce & herbs & spiced, as well as a frozen food section. Read some of the negative reviews, so would urge you to speak to the owner Mohammed Javid to resolve. I'm sure he would welcome this. I have been coming her for years, and first started when I heard you can get sirloin steaks without pre-ordering. Also found meat prices reasonable.
Mango was bit expensive, but overall it was an excellent store.
Great place to get Asian and Middle Eastern food. Do fruit vegetables cold drink savory snacks halal meat and so on. Staff is friendly.
I have been to this shop thrice, compared to other stores in this area vegetables are good and cheap especially Okra but I wouldn’t recommend buying fruits bcz of their quality. And you get most of the Indian groceries. Also you can get fresh curry leaves and Dosa batter.
Very huge amount of food from all around Asia. Halal butcher, halal foods Nice and clean shop, highly recommended.
I went last Saturday to this shop, I bought one small watermelon for 6.95£ some tomatoes, 1 pomegranate and some Turkish delight. The watermelon was like jelly inside the most horrible watermelon I had ever seen. The pomegranate was off and the tomatoes were tasteless. I called the shop 30 minutes after when I went home after I opened the watermelon. No one answered I left a voicemail. Waiting for their call Sunday none called me. I phoned on Monday and spoke with a guy explaining the situation, he said I should have called earlier, but didn’t seem to be bothered. He said bring the watermelon here so we can see it. I live 20 miles away from their shop. End of the story this shop is very disappointed with service and products. I have put 12£ in the trash.
I love this store. I'm really into Asian style cooking, particularly Indian and I can get everything I need with no need to substitute! Too many items to list but fresh veg, dried foods, breads, various types of rice, tinned products and a plethora of spices. The staff are great and very helpful if struggling to find something. Just brilliant.
