It was a lovely send off for John Webster 26/2/2020.
Lots of lovely flowers and treated people with respect. Only downside is it was like a conveyor belt system. One family in then as they walk out next in like an industrial system. I feel dealing with a death needs time to allow reflection and the necessary grieving.
Very respectful and they chose a lovely piece of music, Enya's Watermark to accompany dad as he was taken in. Highly recommended.
Grounds are kept clean and tidy, nice size,not freezing cold inside,..you get what you expect to get.humanist service was very good and helpful

A large chapel ideal if you have a lot of people attending not like other crematorium s which are quite small and staff at Sunderland are very helpful especially nicky Rowland who is currently looking after the running of the crematorium
Due to the Corona virus pandemic and the fact there was only 16 mourners allowed inside the crematorium. The service was broadcast via the speaker system to the mourners outside
Dated. Old fashioned. Tired flowers. Conveyor belt feel. No instructions of what should happen.
Despite the times we are living through, staff were really helpful and sincere
