Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Coffee was great and the cheddar scrambled eggs and shakshuka were delicious. I tried the famous hazelnut pancake, but honestly it was far too heavy and not the classic pancake style — impossible to finish. Overall, still a nice spot in quiet Notting Hill.
Had breakfast here and really enjoyed the atmosphere — the space is open, full of natural light, and just has a calm, welcoming vibe. Service was great too; staff were attentive and friendly. As for the food, it was okay overall. I tried the pancakes, but they were a bit too heavy and had an odd taste. I really wish they offered classic, simple pancakes — that alone would take the whole experience up a notch.
The restaurant is really cute and the interior is really nice. Staff were friendly and very attentive.nnWe had the chicken sando and pasta which was really nice!nHowever the biggest disappointment were the desserts. The pancakes especially, although aesthetically appealing, it was the worse. It was dense like cake and just had an odd taste to it. It might be the flour used because the apple cake also had the same odd taste to it. The cornflakes brownie was nice but would be better if the cornflakes were crunchy. The best dessert we ordered was the cookie!nnI would come again but not for the dessert. Don't be fooled by the pancakes!
First and foremost I must mention NELSON! He was absolutely amazing. From the moment he welcomed us to the moment we left. His customer service and willingness to accommodate us cannot be praised enough. Me and my friend both ordered Egg sandwich which was very tasty alongside a portion of fries. We also ordered this ‘pancake’ which seemed more like a cake to be fair. I did not enjoy it at all, but I know people love it. It’s covered with this hazelnut sauce. I also had their homemade lemonade. Really refreshing. I love the ambiance and the location.
In a nice quiet area of Notting Hill. The inside is nice and quiet for a weekend visit and the staff are lovely.nnHowever, the portions are a little crazy and the overly sweet syrups on the pancake made it very hard to eat as we struggled to finish a single pancake between the two of us. Which was a shame because the pancake itself was delicious. They should really consider offering plain pancakes on the menu.nnThe egg sandwich was underwhelming, with no sides and came alone on a small plate - disappointing for the price.nnOverall a decent brunch place.
