I have been a regular customer at the Sunday in Brooklyn in Marylebone, but this branch is now my local and the food and service is just as good.nnI visited for the first time this week and the staff who served me made me feel welcome and made sure I was seated at a table suitable for someone who is disabled.nnThere is a great selection of food but my favourite is definitely the Sunday Pancake. This pancake is something quite special, as it is a tasty combination of a pancake and a sponge cake. The hazelnut maple praline sauce is indulgent but so delicious.nnSunday in Brooklyn is a great location for brunch, dinner or sweet treat. I will definitely be back in future.
Came for the famous pancakes - and they are indeed incredible! Didn’t know what to expect from the hazelnut maple praline, but it was soooo good, a perfect balance of sweet and salt. The pancake isn’t fluffy, but it’s really good, and a simple one is enough to share. Unfortunately the savory dishes were a bit disappointing. We had the smash burger, which was ok, but definitely not worth the price, and wanted to try the pita, but it wasn’t available during the day anymore even though the website said they were. We had the cilbir eggs with yogurt and tomato compote and it was tasteful, a good pick, but it wasn’t a lot of food.
Nice local restaurant that I go frequently. Lunchtime is busy but gets quiet in the evening. The other day I came over for dinner on a Friday and enjoyed the rather silent atmosphere. I’d say people come here more for the vibe, pretty plating and drinks, but the food could benefit from some improvement.nThe pancake is an exception really delicious and huge.
I visited this restaurant recently and overall had a good experience, though I feel it might be a bit overhyped. I ordered the shakshuka and the Turkish eggs—both dishes were well prepared and tasted good, with nice flavors and decent portions. That said, while everything was enjoyable, it didn’t fully live up to the high expectations set by the hype. Still, it’s a pleasant spot with solid food and worth trying if you’re in the area.

Greeted with a welcoming smile by Serena.nnAfter being guided to a table by the window, we were served chilled water.nnThe beef sandwich was packed with flavour and served with a generous portion of non oily herby fries.nnThe Cilbir eggs were creamy but not too rich, perfectly sized portion. The bread is good quality.nnI will return!
