I've heard a lot about the hard rock cafe so I had a lot of expectations. I'm glad to admit that hard rock cafe surpassed my expectations.nI fasted till the afternoon and I'm so glad I did. I ordered ribs, which were absolutely massive. It took me quite a while to tackle and conquer my foe. I waited for quite a while before I ate cheesecake for dessert.nIf you're looking for no frills, tasty food then this is the place for you.
It's vibrant and lots of people from different walks of life. A lot of people celebrate birthdays here. We came on an early Friday to treat ourselves.Music is lively. The food is excellent. We ordered a burger and a Berry salad with chicken. Its called Berry salad because they put some strawberries on it. We had some cocktails, and in the end, you can claim a cocktail glass the same on the picture at the store .Just claim it on the till, and they will give you a new glass. I gave a 4 star on service because the macaroni arrived later and not the same time as our main courses, and it served as main size, and we only need a small side order. We also waited long for them to clear our table. We planned to order dessert, but because we are running out of time.We just asked for the bill and went to the shop on top of the restaurant to claim our glasses. By the way, the bill includes 12.5% service charge of the total bill.
Went for dinner here on a Monday night. Hadn’t booked but the place is massive so got a table straight away.nnOur server was new and was being shadowed. They were polite and katalin sorry if I misspelled was helpful throughout.nnMy mate and I both went for the blue burger and shared a side of shrimp.nnThe burgers were tasty and big. Blue cheese squirting out from all sides so careful if you’re in a nice dress or a suit : wasn’t sure about the mega lettuce but made the dish more colourful for sure. The chips were okay.nnThe shrimp was the star of the show. Had a glaze in it. They called it spicy and there were visibly jalapeños on the dish but it wasn’t spicy at all. It was sweet. I loved it. I could’ve done a bowl of that to myself. It’s a must if you go here.nnDrinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere is good with amazing star studded decor and catchy classic music in the background.nnIt was pleasant and I would recommend it for kids etc but it’s not somewhere I’d rush to go back to. Saying that I can see myself just going back for the shrimp :
Me , my wife and my rock fan 14 year old daughter visited today from Birmingham. 2.5 hour drive as bad traffic. We kept calling to say we were late we called three times and the lovely Craig kept moving the time to accommodate us , brilliant. We had a great time and it wasn’t over priced . You have to take into account location and staff numbers . We were served by Frankie, he was absolutely brilliant, coups o enough for us and made us fell super special. Both Craig and Frankie are an asset to the Cafe . Planning a return visit very soon . Thank you so much !
I would like to start with the incredibly friendly staff. You never suffer trying to get the attention to order something and you are always taken care of. We tried chilli shrimps and brownie and they were both great. But brownie was huge so it is definitely for share.
