Went to collect a take out and when I got back home I live 15 minutes away opens up the food my partner found a silver hair in her sauce. We also ordered the duck and it was supposed to come with cucumber and spring onions but they gave us fried seaweed Instead. Quite upset really as we have always gone there and they have made little mistakes but this was an unforgettable mistake so we will not be going back.

We travel from tingewick to this establishment for the last 6years and find the staff and Andy very welcoming. Their food has always been exceptional and good value for money. We don’t go anywhere else. I think they have tried their best to remain operational under the most strictest rules whilst in this pandemic. They only have to make one slip and the whole cohort could be closed down, it is very difficult to distinguish whether a customer is being genuine about non facial coverage and this can be prevented by having a clear facial shield which I use in most incidences for the short period whilst in vicinity I think they have done remarkably well to provide an alternative evening meal throughout this pandemic under the most scariest circumstances.
The reason why i gave it a 1 is the lack of customer service in langford village chinese takeaway. I have been there a few times. so far i haven't had any issues but tonight I don't know whether the servers where having a bad evening or what but I the rudeness they had towards my mum i witnessed was unbelievable. I couldn't go in store because i didn't have my mask but she was exempt and had proof. Instead of accepting that, they requested for another form of ID which made no sense. I think customer service skills need to be reviewed on how to handle people with exemptions and how to communicate with customers effectively. As someone that has worked in retail. If you as an employee are going through personal issues, you shouldn't take it out on the customers. You should give good customer service regardless. just a suggestion. as you don't Know what that other person is going through. Unfortunately due to the poor customer service my mum received tonight even though she likes the food she will no longer wants to purchase from you.
Amazing freshly cooked food. Flavoursome. House fried special rice is a must try! You can do special request to twitch the menu a little, no fuss at all. Always happy to suggest if u not sure what to order. Very friendly Owner.
Really busy yesterday evening, yet they're still turning out excellent food. There was a couple of customers having issues with their orders but mine was fine so I can't complain. I've never seen them so busy. Their duck chow mein is my favourite Chinese dish anywhere, has been for nearly 20 years.
Went to get a takeaway and found that the young lady serving had a terrible attitude towards the customers when confronted she was very aggressive towards me so we left. When we got home and opened the food to find that the chicken was raw and when we called her and explain she verbally abuse me over the phone definitely would not recommend this place.
Their food is excellent. Their Covid procedure will frustrate you no end. You can't get through on the phone, you don't know if you should go in to the shop to collect, you end up waiting outside the for your name/number to be called, only to find your order has been getting cold for 20 minutes. Sun wah: Just put some basic instructions on the window so customers know what to do. Phone order customers: just go straight in the shop and collect, you don't need to wait... The people waiting outside are customers who ordered in the shop and are waiting for their food to be cooked.
Terrible customer service. I was refused to be allowed to stand inside and was made to stand outside because I was unable to wear a face mask. Refusing access to me because I'm unable to wear a mask due to my disability is direct discrimination. No different to stopping a black person for example. I had no problem standing outside even after they showed a very disablist attitude towards me but it was the fact they were so rude with it that I had to politely cancel my order and go somewhere else.
