Great pub, run by John and Kerry. Unfortunately they no longer do food due to a decision by Mr Smith senior. Very shortsighted in my opinion as their food, especially the fish and chips were excellent. Humphrey you really need to have a rethink! Also children are not allowed in anymore as they don't sell food.Service: 5/5
Perfect. No phones. No swearing. Great beer. Friendly locals. An exterior more in keeping with the French Riviera than Burnage.
Lovely Sam Smiths pub in Burnage. Really nice interior.. Bar, lounge and snugsno pics of lounge as too many patrons and Sam smiths no phone policy it's had a refurb and it's done tastefully. Big outside area. Serves double 4 and a light mild on draught along with the usual. Serves food and has a dartboard . It's a sam smiths establishment so cash only, no phones, no swearing.. recommended
Underappreciated venue owned by independent brewery. Exquisite offerings of organic produce. A hidden gem, basically.Service: 4/5
Not for me the Sam's Smith pubs are dreary and the beer is terrible. Each for there own. Extra star for sense of humor.
Really friendly pub with host of beers at great prices I will return .
Great Service always a big smile from John and Kerry the food is really nice glad I came across this lovely place thanks to John and Kerry thanks JasonFood: 5/5
A great place to relax and have a good chat. No mobiles, no music. Good old fashion fireplace with dancing flames. But the bonus is, a great Sunday roast. With pub meals during the week, Sun In September is a pub worth visiting.
It’s a lovely Sam smith boozer and there’s some gooduns oancheater. It’s actually the best Sam smith in Manchester. All the staff are lovely and the food is worth up to twice what you’d pay for it. The landlord and staff look after the taps like prodigy footballer. They keep it on the straight and narrow and it produces the goods. If only they had something to do with Gazza or Best. Float down and drink on deepest, darkest Manchester
Great place lovely staff best food in Burnage thanks will always go there.Food: 5/5
