I had a great experience from the onset! Joey on reception was informative and gave good guidance. Adrian the owner kept in touch all through the process, checking up on my healing process and after care. The salon is lovely, clean and welcoming. Danny my artist is such a beautiful, gentle soul and a great artist! He gave me guidance and inspiration to get my bespoke tattoo. Fabulous overall experience and my niece will get her first tattoo here with Danny doing the work. Highly recommend this studio!  Requested style: I wanted inspiration to incorporate several elements. Danny my tattoo artist gave me guidance and came up with a great bespoke design.  Cleanliness: Extremely clean salon. Artists very hygiene focused changing gloves several times with rooms well equipped with sanitary equipment. Bathrooms very clean and well supplied.  Stylist: My stylist was Danny. He was kind, funny and very gentle. Very artistic with great creativity and he let those creativity juices flow when doing my tattoo and the result was magical!

I got my first large tattoo with Sugar Skull and from start to finish every person I dealt with was excellent. The staff made me feel very welcome and informative when guiding me through the process, special thanks to Adrian, Joey and Rollen. The shop is super clean and the artist I had worked with the utmost professionalism. The communication from the staff was really great and all my queries were answered promptly and fully. I will certainly be returning here for any future tattoos.

I had a great experience from the start with the consultation right through to the finish. I was looking for a cover up and had something in mind. Danny was my tattooist and he was great. I told him what I was looking for and he designed it and I loved what he came up with. Such a talented guy. During both sessions he kept me relaxed and we just chatted away which took my mind off the more sensitive areas. Once the tattoo was completed he also advised on the aftercare. I will definitely be back as I am already planning my next tattoo. If you are looking for a great experience I highly recommend coming here.

I could not be happier with the service I received at Sugar Skull Tattoo Studio.  Adrian was incredibly patient when answering all my questions by email and the artist who did my tattoo, Rollen, was calm and professional, adapting my tattoo as I requested.  The tattoo, which means so much to me as it is in memory of my dear friend who passed away recently, is healing very well and I love it!  Thank you to all at Sugar Skull!

I had a fantastic experience from booking a consultation via the email on their website. Adrian gave me a number of available slots to come in for the consultation and walked me through every detail of my tattoo, what artists would be a good fit for the design and confirming my appointment. Jorge designed the tattoo and inked me, it was a wonderful experience! I got exactly what I wanted and more. Sugar Skull is great if you’re looking for an amazing design at a competitive price point where you’re taken care of, start to finish!  Cleanliness: Great!

Great experience from start to finish, from initial email communications from Adrian who booked me in for a consultation. Joey in the studio listened to my ideas and recommended Sam, who came out to have a look and confirm he could do something with my idea. I didn’t have long to wait until my appointment date and on the day I found the studio to be very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Sam paid so much attention to detail and made me feel so relaxed that the time passed quickly. Great aftercare advice and follow up email from Adrian to ask if healing well and inviting any questions. Sam’s style is my personal favourite but they have other artists who offer various styles of tattoos that there will be someone here that suits everyone so I would highly recommend this place. I’m delighted with my tattoo - it’s even better than I hoped it would be.

I went in for a free consultation and was matched up with Danny, a very talented tattoo artist, by Adrian. He knew exactly what I was looking for and was very helpful and I am in love with my new tattoo. They were very thorough when discussing looking after my tattoo and made it clear that if I had any issues or questions to contact them. Overall, the whole experience was stress free and enjoyable and I will definitely be back in the future.

Contacted Sugar Skull to get my first tattoo sorted. Whole process from start to finish was excellent and as a first timer put me completely at ease. Adrian was a massive help in the first instance to get me booked in for a consultation quickly where I met with Joey who walked me through the whole process.  Joey was very understanding this was my first tattoo, walked through my options clearly all the way through to aftercare and helped me choose the best artist for what I was looking for.  My tattoo artist Danny was excellent and quickly put me at ease on the day as did Joey as soon as I entered the studio. I’m very happy with how the tattoo turned out, Danny done a fantastic job, suggested edits to shading that made the tattoo itself look better than I expected, and throughout the whole session was talking away which helped distract from the new experience of getting tattooed which was brilliant.  Following the session I received an email early the next morning from Adrian to check in and see if I was happy with the experience and also mentioning to reach out if I had any questions on looking after it etc which was very much appreciated. After asking a question regarding aftercare, I received a detailed response from Adrian which was brilliant.  I have a few similar tattoos planned and I will be getting back in touch soon with Sugar Skull to get these done, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend especially if you’re getting your first tattoo!

Sugar Skull Tattoo Studio are amazing - from the initial message request, Adrian got back to me instantly and booked me in for a consultation. Joey at the consultation was very friendly and knowledgeable and recommended Danny to carry out the work for my phoenix tattoo, and he was amazing. He is very skilled and the tattoo looks incredible, couldn't have asked for it to go any better. The aftercare from the studio is also amazing as both Adrian and Danny were in contact to make sure everything was healing correctly and if they could be of any help. Would recommend to everyone and will definitely be back in the future! Thanks again!

Got my tattoo done here a few weeks ago. My experience with Sugar Skull Tattoo Studio started with me sending them an email a few months ago. I was away from home for a few months at the time, but the date of the appointment was very important to me. Once I'd sent my initial email with rough details of what I was looking for & the date, Adrian was very prompt in responding. After a few back & forth emails, my deposit was paid & my appointment was booked in for 8 weeks time.  Skip forward to 3 days before the appointment, I received an email from Adrian just to confirm the appointment. This email also contained a small section on how to care for your tattoo once it's done. Very handy for first timers, but also a useful reminder for those who haven't had one done for a while.  When the day came, Danny was my artist. I'd already sent a couple of ideas of what I was looking for in my emails. Danny worked with those to come up with a design to show me which was perfect, so we quickly got started. Each artist has their own wee room to work in with the door shut over, so if you are looking for a little privacy, you'll get it here. Everything was very clean & organised. I was aware that Danny changed his gloves multiple times possibly for his own comfort, but this also reassured me from a hygiene point. The tattoo took around 4 hours to complete, but between chatting away with Danny & listening to music the time flew in. Some of the other artists also popped in knocking beforehand to speak to Danny & have a look at what I was getting done. Everyone was super friendly & it was an enjoyable experience.  The following day, I received an email from Adrian to check that I was satisfied with my tattoo & the service I had received,  & see if I had any questions.  This has been a 5* service from start to finish & I highly recommend their studio. Everything has been perfect!
