Lovely venue but far too many slow songs.  I counted 12 Drake songs throughout the night! Very disappointed as we came up from London and expected a lot more from the venue.

Last night myself and 4 of my friends got assaulted over an unprovoked event by two males. We gave our statements to the police and let ONE of the males simply get away with a £40 fine. This was because we had no 'evidence'. Now i will happily thank the security guards that helped while i had my first ever panic attack and i will thank them for staying with us while we waited for the police, but i will not however thank Sugar Cube and the fact that these two boys have pretty much been let away scot free simply because the club didn't have CCTV in the ONE area that this happened. I find it unnaceptable that they can have cctv in pretty much every area but seemed to have forgotten that one booth. If they simply had one camera in that booth we could have pressed charges against these guys for punching myself and a few of my girlfriends, repeatedly punching my boyfriend and bursting my friends nose. But thanks to Sugar cube and this mistake, ONE of the guys just got a fine and the other got absolutely NOTHING. I'm not one to post lengthy statuses shaming a business but i feel it could have been a different situation and a FAIRER one if they had covered their whole club with CCTV. The fact that we paid £200 for a booth expecting to be safe and then 4 people claim an unpaid for booth and expect us not to dance in the booth we've paid for is abysmal. Thanks Sugar cube.  Happy birthday to me.

Bouncer's where rude to friend for no specific reason ,9 of us were guest listed ,felt unwelcome ...music was good vibe was a bit weird too doubt i will ever return to this joke a club ..been years and the standards have severely dropped save your money go somewhere else in Glasgow

Decor is a bit dated but the music was first class
