Everybody was very professional. Access was easy but a little awkward for wheelchair users as there was a problem with the automatic doors and the button to open the doors was a little far away.
Excellent service from the registrars at this office. They answered all my queries about our wedding and what rules needed to be adhered to, they made it clear and concise. Four days before our wedding, we found out that our ceremony venue had to close due to contact with Coronavirus. We called the registry office and they were so helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we could get married at the registry office on the day we planned, at the time we planned. Everyone we spoke to was lovely and the ceremony itself was perfect.
We just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to Lisa our Registrar for being part of our wedding day last Thursday. Everything was perfect from start to finish! From the moment we met Lisa to give our notice we completely relaxed and knew we were in good hands. She completely reassured us that she would make the ceremony run as perfectly as she could and we had nothing to worry about. So many people commented on how lovely and down to earth she was. We were SO happy Lisa married us and was a part of our day. We cannot thank her enough!!
Had to register a death from Yorkshire, Suffolk Register Office were very supportive talking me through the legalities and necessary actions. Very quick response times on emails and phone calls. All you could hope for in a stressful situation. Thank you.
About time they hired an actual manager. Disgusting I’ve witnessed enough now, heard enough. Suffolk county council need to be careful as legal action could be taken by many so much so I may even take it into my own hands. The manager is a BULLY!! Thinks she’s untouchable time for change.
Arrived late due to traffic, and they done there best to find another registry office with a slot on the same day then actually managed to squeeze us in there and then. Very helpful and very professional. Thanks again Luke and Charlotte.
No point in calling - you'll never get through to a human being. If you leave a message and miss the call back, you won't get another call. You just have to keep ringing back and leaving your details in the hope they call you back at a time when you're on break. You can only ring during opening hours, which is obviously when we are working so the chances of me speaking to someone today - slim to none? I need to arrange a collection of a birth cert which is fairly urgent, can't go online as the person I am doing this for is vulnerable and won't use her debit card online, we need the cert copy ASAP. I am starting to wonder if anyone works there at all? This service is awful, if you want to use the service by phone, forget it!

very helpful young lady - Lisa - when obtaining copies of death certificates. Excellent, friendly service and would highly recommend. Even shared a few off-the-cuff, banter type dialogues along the way.
