I ordered from here a week ago and while I enjoyed my food. I deducted two stars because of two simple reasons.. 1: The staff member who served me was quite pleasant at first but after asking me if I'm local. I told them I was moving to the city and their knowledge of the city is shocking in that they don't even know where Waterside and St Swithin's Church and Square is. Despite being literally next to the college and ring road. I was shocked by their lack of knowledge of the city. Despite asking me if I'm a local. They also stopped really engaging with me which I found quite rude. 2: The salad was really bad and the meat was not very pleasent. Also failed to allow me to scan my subcard so I was quite disappointed and offended. So I'll avoid this in future with people who ask if I'm local act local and don't know where the easiest and obvious places are. Sorry but 3/5 from me unless the owners respond to this. Never again.
To understand the review, the history needs to be known. For several years, closer to 10 I've gone to this store for uni and now at lunch when working. I always have the same Italian BMT. I've never taken the time to leave a review but I've always felt exceptionally fulfilled after each visit. Recently given the online orders and everything else it seems like pandemonium in the store, yet the service and the sarnies are still straight from the top drawer. Keep it up guys and I'm looking forward to the next 10 years together
Stunning place was spotless and clean and so were the staff, nothing was to much trouble and the staff member was very patient with me, food was fantastic fresh and we'll prepared
It was a fairly busy place at the time, being as it was midday. But even then it was a fast service that provides good meals for when you're looking to treat yourself. And for something so busy, the seating was quite generous. It was a very pleasant visit after leaving college for the holidays.
As a vegan I was pleased they offered a vegan option, until I asked if the vegan and meat go in the same oven/microwave, and found out they do. For the reason there could be the slightest chance of cross contamination, I chose not to eat at Subway, if this is resolved I will definitely go back.
Location is great. Been going here since I was at college. Could be more seating though. Served quick enough and reasonable service.
Smaller subway but still delivers good customer service. Would be better if they replaced plastic straws with paper ones.
Very polite and friendly staff, clean and tidy, great fresh and tasty food. Well done.
I usually get amazing customer service here however on this occasion the staff werent as hospitable, however it was late in the day so I personally didnt mind, I know I wouldn't like to be stood in one small space all day making sandwich after sandwich. They gave me every opportunity to ask what I wanted on my sandwich, wrapped it and cut it in the way I expected. All round a pleasant experience.
Just been in with a meal deal for 4.99 voucher. Thought fantastic I'll save myself some money. Meal total came to £4.30. Luckily the girl behind the counter pointed out that the voucher would actually make the meal more expensive?? Classic capitalism, giving students vouchers that make the meals more expensive
