Always a long queue outside, Always a Good sign. Great food at resemble prices. Chips and Fish, sausages, pies, 1/2 chicken, mushy peas, curry and gravy. Chinese dishes served are made fresh and quickly. Kid-friendliness: Its a takeaway. Long queue. Parking: Quite limited, on the corner.
Had the beef curry rice with 2 sausages, wife, had fish, chips & curry. Very generous portions, I'm having the other half next day, you really get that much, the rice & curry divine. Staff are super nice, frendly, really hard workers & are a credit to their customers. this is our new to go chippy, super highly recommended. Cash only - no Cards

Pretty nice chips. Mum liked the peas. I had a chip barm, fresh and hot, although couldn't taste vinegar, even after requesting extra. Might be watered down. The shop is a bit of a mess to know where to stand, order, pay, and collect. Staff seemed to work orders one at a time, instead of having one person taking a few orders, and one person filling them. Resulted in a bit of a wait. Acceptable pricing. Definitely worth a visit for chips, but room for improvement with service and vinegar. Vegetarian options: Veggie options available. Unknown if chips are fried in same chamber as fish or not. Dietary restrictions: Allergen sign posted, so staff are aware of allergens in food. Options available for different needs.
Ordered fish and chips all food was greasy and the fish had clearly been cooked a long time before I got it. But I did get free prawn crackers which where very good.
Freshly prepared food and lovely staff. You may wait a while but it's definitely worth the wait. You can also ring ahead to place your order.
I live in London now but from Bolton and whenever I come home this is one of the first places I grab something to eat. Amazing chippy chips and nice staff.
Food is usually great. However, two times now I've tried ringing to place an order. The first time was a few Saturdays ago, no answer after 20 attempts. I drove past and it was busy, so just assumed that was the reason why. Tonight - Wednesday evening. Tried ringing about 15 times. No answer. So I drive to the chippy. Empty. I ask if they've changed their number - her answer "we don't serve Chinese on a Monday or Wednesday anymore". Strange. But to not answer the phone??? Wasted journey. No apology. Thanks.
You can't advertise you open till 9.30 then close regularly at 9.00.......told you before but you don't seem to understand. Close at 9 but tell people, you've lost 5 customers tonight due to false advertising of your hours. Not right guys.
Really friendly, chips are delicious and so are the prawn crackers , they didn't make it home we ate them in the car parking can be a bit of a nightmare but all round decent chippy !!!
