I felt this was a good place to visit for a rainy day and, on our occasion, a very snowy day! That meant we were down in the caves alone and so could do what we wanted. It's quite tight so with more people it might not be as amenable! It all felt a bit old fashioned including the Sid Perou film at the end but the formations are great. Access is fine most days but if it's winter be aware of snow as it can get blocked in. We managed to get out but it was a bit hairy for the first few miles until we got to a lower altitude.

Discovered this place by chance while browsing Google maps l. Glad I did. The cavern is long enough and full of lots of interesting little things. The gift shop on the surface has lots of variety of gifts and a couple of activities for kids. Didn't try the care but it's good that it's there. Would definitely go again.

Friendly and welcoming staff, great with the kids. Great food, cooked fresh and fast. The caves are great to explore at your own pace. The gift shop isn't overpriced, the Nice toilet facilities are nice and clean and there's plenty of parking.

It was fascinating. I could have spent hours here. The self guided cave tour is just amazing. As you can see in the photos, the caves look all wet and slimey but the stones are mostly smooth as polished glass (ok, also wet sometimes). It's not warm down there so dress accordingly; but be ready to remove a layer for the climb back up 🙃 . There's a little treasure hunt for the children and the lady running the operations was an absolute delight.

A very beautiful place to visit 😊. Very important to wear and keep the safety helmets on all the time and have good shoe. The staff are very helpful and after our visit we had something to eat from the cafeteria upstairs. The food was excellent.
