Stripy dog is on Westbury Hill in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol. It offers a good range of dog accessories and offers dog grooming. My mum has her dog groomed there and is always pleased at the result. It can be difficult to get an appointment for your dog as it is a popular salon. Mum always makes an appointment for the next grooming as soon as her dog has been done. The staff are friendly and will listen to your requirements when you take your dog in.

I've been coming here since the beginning. My dog starts pulling before we get to the door, which says it all! They are so lovely and I really wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

We have a Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel, who loves going to Stripy Dog! The staff are excellent, they are knowledgeable in terms of how to trim the coat and have an appreciation for maintaining the look of the breed. Staff are flexible, friendly and personable. It is with great comfort that I take Andy (dog) there where he gets pampered. The parlour is very clean and calm despite the dogs being there. The dogs are very well behaved and this is reflection of the staff attitude and the ethos of care and attention provided by the staff.

Took our 8 month old poodle for her first groom with anyone other than her breeder. The ladies at Stripy Dog went above and beyond not only to make her look absolutely beautiful (they noticed a tiny bit of stray fur as we were walking out of the door and ran to snip it!) but they also made her completely at home, even stopping half way through the groom to play with her and let her stretch her legs. Highly recommended, it's so good to know that we've found our 'forever groomers'!

Amazing groomers who always make my dog look lovely. Would recommend to anyone who wants a more personal experience.
