Right off the bat, this is a review of the kids soft play and climbing area. We didn't use the bowling facility. We arrived at 2pm and just walked in and paid for our child to use the place at the desk, no pre-booking required. The price was £5.50. I asked how long we had, and the guy literally looked at his watch and said to about 4:30 or 5. So it appears we just got the rest of the day. I was expecting a few hours, or slots of time, but it seems you just get to go in and stay? The apparatus is good, with plenty of multi level walkways, easy to climb steps, and no falling hazards or "holes" to lower levels. I know this because I went in and took a full tour with my son. Purely for research purposes of course. There is easy viewing access to 90% of the play area from the ground. At the front there is a "toddler only" area called off for kids up to 4 years old to play safely. There are plenty of tables and chairs Infront of the climbing area. There is a full menu of hot and cold food, and coffee is available, although it is not included in the printed menu, so just ask at the counter when you order. All of our orders were brought to the table by very friendly staff. The food was decent and filled a hole. There is a vending machine with cross and chocolate. Every item is a pound. Toilets are located right in the play area. My son had a great time and we ended up staying for 4 hours. Parking is quite spacious, and I am sure if you really had to you could park in the leisure centre or Morrisons and walk. Edit: Nov 4 2023 Tried the Strikes bowling facility for the first time. We could only book 1 game even though they're were 4 lanes empty, so it would seem practical to call ahead as they obviously do a good trade in pre-booked games. No need to wear bowling shoes if you have "proper" trainers on. Decent selection of ball sizes and finger holes. Send like a silly comment but I've been to quite a few bowling alleys where there wasn't a single ball I could fit my fingers into. All players are put up on the board by the staff before you play. The lane next to us broke down quite a few times lane 1 but the techs were there quickly to set it right. For 2 adults and a child, on a Saturday at 1 in the afternoon it came to just over £21. But due if they do a print out of your game scores, but if I had to hedge my bets I'd say probably not. You can always ask. Good fun. Need to practice!!!
Love Strikes Dereham the staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Food is excellent and good value for money. Promises a good time for all. Keep up the good work Strikes
We booked our tickets in advance for 2 games each for 4 people, which is a slight discount. I have not played for years, but I still managed a best score of 179. Also played air hockey. All in all, a great few hours.
Great place, went into play area there. Well organised and big plus, one fee for child, not accompanying adult like most places. Will definitely be coming on again. Friendly, helpful staff.
Perhaps a little tired and couple do with upgrading some of their equipment, but had a great evening out with friends for a birthday celebration.
Great venue! Attended a Bowling birthday party there and all the children had an amazing time! Party host was great with the children and the parents grabbed a few drinks at the bar. Staff looked after us especially the Manager called Laura. Highly recommended

Visited Norwich last weekend and was recommended this venue to come for some tenpin bowling. Great standard of facility and lovely lanes too. Staff seem to take pride in what they're doing and gave us great service. I'd certainly visit again.
Fun day out! We had masses of laughs and everyone was very helpful with table service and loading the games for us! Would recommend for a group event of fun.
