Attended cookery course here. Very good. Setting is idyllic. Couple on course were guests at the B&B, they could not stop talking about the food. . . . . . which is fab + 100%, we sampled some of the chap's cooking during the course, and I would agree it is excellent. Close to Wimbleball Lake and Exmoor (In fact it might be in Exmoor National Park), near pretty town / village of Dulverton.

Down to do a recci for Wimbleball 70.3 and so a central position for cycle and seeing Exmore. Host Ian had cake and tea ready in the sunny garden. Do follow their detailed and simple instruction to Streamcombe, as the post code is a bit vague for the car sat nave to follow. Delightful rooms with sunny outlook from large bathroom. Very comfortable bed and lots of well positioned power sockets. Breakfasts both days was from an excellent menu and all fresh local produce, especially the bread. Dinner on Sat night was a delight with Ox Cheeks as our choice of main, amongst an interesting and high quality menu; just need to bring your own wine. We will visit again and highly recommend it to all.

A really special place that is very tranquil and secluded but close enough to Dulverton for evening meals or shopping etc. On arrival we had a very warm welcome and a pot of tea and warm lemon cake which was very tasty! The room was very clean and nicely furnished. We had the option of eating an evening meal there but wanted to eat in Dulverton. For breakfast there was lots of choice and plenty to eat and was delicious. Judging by the breakfast the evening meal would be very good! Would definately stay again.

Visited in January 2011. Tea and homemade cake provided upon arrival. All food is homemade and of a high standard. Had an evening meal there which was fantastic. Can take your own wine. Would definitely return.
