This was a very welcoming pub The staff was really friendly I had the beef and ale pie plenty of meat inside and piping hot large portions and fairly priced a bottle of bulmers was around £3.60 again fairly priced hot drinks Ava. Deffo visit on our next trip to Morecambe.
The front of house staff were lovely and friendly but we were really disappointed with the food! The fries we're all hot but the thicker chips on another meal were a little bit frozen in the middle, 2 burgers were only just hot enough to eat and one was cold. The lady who we spoke to was very nice and quickly rectified the situation.

You can always expect to find a place to sit in here, with good sports coverage of big events. Good atmosphere. Lots of drinks selections - they even do a two-pint drink bit too big for my liking which Andy bought for me.. good old Guinness
For a drink it's a lovely pub, however we went for food and it was not good. Chips were barely warm, and my steak sandwich was not cooked to my liking. I know it is basic pub food, but if you are asked how you'd like the meat, I expect it to be as I asked, Otherwise, don't bother asking. The Mash potato was probably smash and certainly looked it. Service was slow, and when we asked for the kids pudding to be brought over, we waited at least 10 minutes, and still, it didn't arrive, so we left without it. I shall not be going for food again although it is good for a drink.
Staff aways pleasant no matter how busy they are. Gluten free menu means my husband gets a better choice, normally would have to have a jacket potato instead of chips but they offer baby potatoes.
Great pub and great food that we all enjoyed. I loved my steak! I also noticed they have a steak night on a Thursday so will definitely be back
First time visit. Really good food at excellent prices. The staff are very friendly and we will definitely return.
We went for a family Sunday lunch. We enjoyed the top side beef dinner. We also had. A Burger stack and chips, Gammon and chips lasagna and a pizza. Everything came at the same time, it was all well cooked and nice and hot. The pub is nice and clean and well layed out. Table sizes for all size of parties. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The portions are very generous and not over priced. The sharing platter was great value. 5 ****
Excellent pub in the heart of heysham community great value for food Sunday roast better than tobys by a mile. Staff were brilliant great service
