Spent a lovely few hours at Stowford Village. Petorama is fantastic value and the staff were great. We were greeted with a bunny on arrival and were guided to the benches so we could pet the animals and even feed a baby goat. There is a great array of animals to pet and see. We then stopped for coffee and cake at the cafe. Reasonable prices and amazing quality! We popped into the pool which looked lovely and warm and had a quick drink in the pub where the log fire was roaring and the atmosphere really friendly. Dogs are also allowed into the pub. Will definitely visit again
Great couple of nights here in February. Very friendly site in a good location around 15minutes from Woolacombe. Facilities are good and very clean but showers were a little cold and could do with more coat hooks! Would be 5 stars but the pitches in field 5 are very sloping. Fine if you're in a caravan with levelling arms but no good for a campervan. Even with wheel chocks you would struggle to get close to level on many of the pitches. We did however ask to move which the staff were very helpful with, although the new pitch wasn't much better Overall definitely a site to recommend. I can see if being incredibly busy in the summer though so maybe not if you enjoy peace and quiet
Lovely place to camp. I'd visit a lot more often if I lived closer. Most staff I encountered are friendly and very helpful. Park is clean and toilet blocks are usually very presentable. Can get very busy so the queues and wait times can get a bit annoying.Service: 4/5
Really nice location. Very quiet and peaceful . Dog friendly cottages and hot tub to boot under the stars. Lovely local walks all in all ticks all boxes. Now our second visit. Rooms: Under floor heating throughout. Coffee machine, log burner, and smart tv in every room. Hot tub for 5 people. Walkability: Lovely local walks around woodland on site. Dog-friendliness: Rooms are dog friendly and our two Borders loved it.
