I had an excellent experience at this restaurant and would be quick to recommend it. The service was excellent, staff were very friendly. The ambiance is cosy and relaxing a great place for couples and groups. The food was fantastic especially the salmon. Great value for money. I would visit again.
Choose to eat here as rated #1 on Trip Advisor. Ordered for 4 people for weekend night out this Saturday evening. For starters papadums with chutney and salad. Main dishes we house specials 2 lamb dishes, king prawns plus saag spinich with 2 rice sides pilau and special rice. Paratha plus garlic Naan and to end the night matka kulfi and ice cream. The lamb dishes we satisfactory well seasoned just slightly well done. Prawns were disappointing leaving them unshelled and with the sharp tail ruined the dish and we asked for the saag to be seasoned as it was plain and not edible. Desserts were ok but you could tell they were left in a freezer for too long. In all the food was average value was not quite there and they could have used metal karahi when serving the dishes as the food got cold too soon. The rating is more than reasonable and I could have been more critical
Food was good but constantly being told to leave trip advisor reviews got very irritating. Also, I don't appreciate the tactic of 'salesmanship' either where the waiter keeps trying to upgrade your order and make you buy more. He gave me such a filthy look when I said I didn't want a side order, he even tried listing them to try to convince me to have one. He did the same thing to every member of my party.
Super restaurtant. Amazing meal. Super service. Very friendly people.
Hardly any meat in the curry. Mostly sauce. Quite tasteless. Nan bread also without taste. Mostly bread without material. Over charged. They didn't add their own bill up correctly. Would not recommend.
We've visited several times now and not been disappointed yet. Food is fresh and cooked well. The staff are attentive and the restaurant is nicely decorated. A very nice evening out.
Husband and I came here as we were staying at a local airport hotel and it was close by. Decided to give it a try based on positive TripAdvisor and Google reviews. Unfortuntely disappointed with the experience. Food lacked flavour and punch and was really bland.We also found the waiters a little too friendly as he kept coming and having long conversations with us and quite pushy as kept telling is to leave a TripAdvisor review for thrm. If you are used to having a good Indian meal then you will be disappointed.
Food nothing great both nans/rotis like rubber and meat poor quality . Over priced can get same for less than half price in Bury Park and more authentic. Must rely on local trade ? If you want authentic Indian cuisine then go somewhere else, conversely if you are happy / like with Bengali cooked curries then this is the place for you!
Excellent service! Great food! Staff always welcome warmly and make us feel comfortable. Ambience is very nice and I would highly recommend to go there.
Food was ok though not my best meal ever But probably down to choice on ordering. Staff where very eager to please Maybe a bit too much so. Was a mess up on the bill but was sorted out quickly.
