Great food, very tasty. Indian food isn't our go to food, so we were a little unsure what to try. Everything we chose was incredible. The poppadoms with the dips were beautiful. My chicken dish was mouth-watering. My husband loved his so much too. We went to the restaurant during a quiet time, so felt well looked after. Lovely surroundings and accommodating staff. Unfortunately, my husband had a work meal to another Indian in London the following wk and was massively disappointed. Indian Ocean is a cut above. Will defo go again, and will recommend to anyone who will listen. Pictures from previous visit with friends.
If you are craving for that “proper British Indian” curry then you must visit Indian Ocean. We are regulars here. Try one of their amazing Fish Curries and super soft and crispy Garlic nan bread. There is free parking available around the venue and the ambiance inside is always sober. Prices: it’s 2023 and with the cost of living crisis we note that the prices have not been noticeably increased. The staff is friendly and professional.
Good price on Wednesday as its a gourmet night = 6 items off the menu for £12.99 also our first visit since before lockdown so its good to know the place is still good ! Really nice Indian restaurant with food to match, we would recommend a visit to anyone that enjoys this kind of food Been again tonight 13/2/22 and happy to say still the same high standards, excellent food and gourmet night on several nights of the week , and all day Sunday. Well worth a visit.
We went on a busy evening and there were two large groups there. It was far too noisy so it was hard to converse at our table and also service was slow. Food was tasty and acceptable but lacked the wow factor. I think the special value buffet nights would be the best option.
I've walked past this restaurant numerous times and finally decided to go in. I wasn't disappointed. The food, service and surroundings were all very good. I'll certainly be visiting again Food: 5/5
We regularly return here for a curry. No nonsense, good food and good service. Large dining area and usually don't have to book. They also have decent non-alcoholic beers.Food: 5/5
Their service was well below the standard that I expected from this restaurant. The waiter was not very efficient and we had a long wait for the food. The presentation was not appealing. Nothing about being there felt like a high quality restaurant. I was left very disappointed on my most recent visit. This is a restaurant I held in very high regard.

Been coming here for over 20yrs food and service always been good, but the last couple of times service has been really slow but tonight made my mind up I will never go there again had to wait 1 1/2 hours to get starters, had to ask for drinks, it wasn’t even busy, what made it worse there was no apology for such a poor service, if they carry on like this they won’t have any customers.
