Stonehouse pharmacy has really helped me today. I have an important script for sleeping tablets and three were missing . I phoned the chemist in a real state of panic , shelley calmed me down and checked on the computer and resolved this within minutes yes I had been given 3 short which were instantly replaced great service and so apologetic.

If British Airways did Pharmacy's, then this would be what they were like. In fact, I do a dis-service to British Airways. Slow staff, who bemoan your very existence, treat you with such disdain that if you were not feeling your best when you went in, will ensure you feel suicidal/homicidal (delete as appropriate) by the time you leave. Ignorance on a level hitherto unknown seems to be a prerequisite to be able to work here. I have repeatedly had to wait a week (yes, 7 days) for prescription to be fulfilled, on account as that if I read the small print it states that they may take up to 48hrs from receipt of the instruction. And when you question this, you are tutted at and made to feel like a darn nuisance. The Pharmacy is attached to the doctors surgery and as such have a captive market place. This in turn leads to very poor performance. I am ill, that is why I am in your store. I am not feeling 100%, so would appreciate a sympathetic customer experience. I do not want to be treated like an inconvenience to your day, or to interrupt your passionate conversation about what you did last night / what you are going to do tonight / make-up tips with your colleagues. Needless to say I will be asking the doctor's for my prescription to be handed to me directly, where I will take it to Sainsbury's who understand the requirement for fast, efficient and sympathetic service when dealing with someone who is not feeling at their best. I suggest the manager takes a long hard look at their staffing requirements for training and general empathy!

This is without doubt the best pharmacy in Stonehouse, some long serving staff who give great service.
