Nice and clean inside. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Nice big menu with plenty of choice for everyone and of all aged. Didn't wait for our food, which was nice. Food was freshly cooked and piping hot and tasted delicious. And being a hungry horse pub they accept the blue light discount card. Which is an added bonus.
A bit disappointing. Kid-size portions, the starter in the middle, larger than the main arrived together with the main they said it's normal , tried to rip off with £5. I changed to 3 stars from 1, because I had a lot great meal there in the past, and I hope it was just a bad day. Needs some improvement actually.
I visited earlier and had the vegan katsu - the food was incredible. The staff were very friendly and helpful in choosing what food to try. The restaurant was tidy and a nice atmosphere. I will definitely go again and recommend to anyone :
Well normally never had a bad meal but this it was not good mrs had the chicken with cheese and bacon topper the chicken not nice very small pieces hardly any chips i had the big round sausage breakfast the beans were like bullets the sausage well the first 6inchs was very nice juicy then it tasted dry rubbery with way to much black pepper which made me have a coughing fit it was awful the eggs and bacon were lovely wont be going back there any time soon
Went for brunch and had the breakfast in bread. The staff were lovely and friendly and happily swapped out ingredients for the meat free version as we are vegetarians. Really well priced and the children's outdoor play area was nice with the exception of a part being broken meaning no access to the slide. Only downsides were the broken play park and a weird smell on entering. But this wouldn't stop us visiting again.
My self and my wife went for breakfast this morning the food looked amazing but then we ate it the toast was dry and cold the only bit that was hot was the eggs and the sausages the black pudding was hard on the outside I wouldn’t of minded but we was the 1st people in for breakfast so not like it was cooked and held
This is definitely one of my favourites! Family-friendly, cosy ambiance, great food and very friendly staff. Accepts Blue Light Card discounts as well, so very affordable for us. You can get pub classics for 2 for £11.99, and they're big portions! Very worth the money.
Very nice food. Wide selection and able to cater for kids. One star docked because my booking didn't show up on their system so we had to go on the hunt for a non-reserved table ourselves. But the staff were polite and overall experience was good.
Despite it being a Friday evening and pay day as it was a bit busy our food arrived quite quickly. Burgers cooked perfectly, good chips and yummy onion rings. Value for money as burgers are BOGOF on Fridays. Didn't have room for a pud. Staff all pleasant. Glad we booked a table.
Great Tuesday mix and match offer. Just £8 per meal, very generous portions and fills any appetite. Go for the half roast chicken plus two sides and a sauce I went for chips, coleslaw and sweet chilli sauce Can't go wrong!
