We had a fabulous Sunday Lunch. We all tried something different but we all made the same mmmm's as we tucked in to the delicious food. The puddings were also excellent and I fully recommend the crumble! Lovely team of people made for a very enjoyable lunch. We are already planning our return to try the other options!

We had a free day, and decided to go for lunch, what a gem of a place, well worth the journey. Jenni our trainee waitress Was absolutely amazing,such a lovely lady. The food and service were outstanding, we were made to feel very special. Not often I go somewhere and book a table in advance for our next visit. This time I did, and I'm looking forward to it already.
Had a really wonderful meal at The Barn @ Pod Shavers. Every bite was delicious and the staff were warm, friendly and attentive. They also go above and beyond in delivering perfect service, I made a last minute request for a birthday cake which they did an absolutely amazing job on as the pics show - it was really scrummy too! Strongly recommend residents of Taunton & Bishop's Lydeard to take advantage of this wonderful gem of a restaurant!
Can't praise 'The Barn' highly enough. Sunday lunch today with friends was a joy. Finding it, tucked away down a narrow lane, is an adventure well rewarded. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the tables well spaced to give comfortable room, the lighting soft and relaxing - all this before I even get to the food. Ahh! the food; beautifully cooked and presented with just a touch of the different. Puds were equally lovely. This is our fourth visit to' The Barn' and will not be our last. Hats off to Jenny and Jay for creating a great dining experience, and for coming through the trials and tribulations of the last two years. Here's to the future.
Absolutely delicious food and delightful staff. We enjoyed the mixed charcuterie board between two of us and thought it was perfect. Such a lovely venue and utterly charming decor, both in the courtyard and inside the barn.
Absolutely loved this place. Outside area is lovely especially on a sunny day. Inside is nice too and very clean. Food is outstanding. We had the roast and it was seasoned perfectly. Flavours seemed to stay on the pallet for ages.. Can't wait to come back for an evening meal.. This place is an absolute must for people who enjoy quality food

Been here twice and the food was excellent both times - a la carte for a friend's birthday, and tapas on a Saturday afternoon. Service is great and they often have chilled out live music. This really is a hidden gem
