After the latest shenanigans with Stoneacre Ford - I won't be setting foot in there again. Around 5 weeks ago, booked in for a service and MOT, on the day of the service, was called at 0900 to say the drive was busy so could I reschedule for next week. Advised the lady calling that I had taken a day off work to enable the service to be done and that re-arranging wasn't acceptable. Was told she would call me back. 2 1/2 hours later still no call back so called them. Was told the driver was out and they didn't know where he was and that the technicians were going on lunch at 1200!! In other words my service wasn't happening that day. I cancelled there and then. Having contacted the service plan company was advised I could cancel that, however Stoneacre had charged them £26 set up fees, and the cancellation fee was £30 - Great it gets better, they also advised that the 3 year service for my Focus had been charged at £270 when checking Ford website - it comes up at £149. Suggest anyone who wants a service booking - do it through Fords website as they seem to severely undercut the price you pay if you go direct to the garage. Either that or something 'odd' has happened on how  much my service plan was charged.

After dealing with Stoneacre’s Scarborough branch on many occasions, I can honestly say their customer service goes beyond outstanding. Tom in Ford sales was particularly helpful, showing exemplary knowledge and service skills as well as finding me an excellent car at a very good price. Overall I rate this firm exceptionally highly, and recommend Stoneacre to anyone looking at purchasing a new vehicle.

Bought my car from here recently in December saw the car I wanted spoke to a lovely salesman called Nathan he was ever so friendly not the usual pushy type that you’d expect told him my price range and he managed to get me a great deal...I wanted the car for the same day so he made sure it was all valeted and waiting for me to collect later that day!

Stoneacres, Scarborough. Enquired about a 1.5 Ford Focus Titanium. The dealer did not have one in but could have one delivered for test drive the following day. Paperwork raised with vehicle details BD65AHP and we left £250 deposit. Got phone call next morning to say the vehicle was there. However my wife had already been on line looking at 1.5 ford focus with Cargurru and lo and behold the car with that same number plate (BD65AHP) was on sale at Stoneacres, Doncaster for £1000 less and in Cargurru' opinion it was nearly £700 overpriced. Still wanted to test drive a 1.5 so we kept the appointment. Returning I was approached by the salesperson and he asked what I thought. I confronted him with the information we had found and he was embarrased and flustered. He got the manager who said he knew nothing about it. The salesperson told us the previous day that his manager was on line searching for a suitable 1.5 focus. When I challenged him he denied it and I told him it was advertised by Stoneacre, Doncaster. "Well I can't know every car in the goup" came the reply. OK but you wouldthink that if hewas searching he would have looked at the group stock first. Additionally, they had all the vehicle details printed when they took the £250 deposit! He then asked if I wanted him to knock £1000 off. I declined and said they had tried to rip me off but got caught out. No I did not want £1000 off and had lost all faith in Stoneacres. I insisted on a full refund. The manager turned to the sales person and said give him a refund we don't want HIS customer anyway! A few minutes later I over heard the girl with the card machine asking why I should get a full refund when they had spent money getting the car for a test drive. I got my £250 refunded.

Very Poor

Standard response from Stoneacres head office a week after this review.  Not the image they want to portray and send contact details so they can get in touch by phone. Sent them phone details, email address etc. 3 weeks later still waiting for Stoneacres to contact me.  Just about sums up the company's attitude to the customer!
