I am always surprised that ‘Spot Fuels’ has survived and a part of me is glad. Particularly when all the other garages are very dominated by the big brands like BP.nnWould be great if Spot Fuels was able to differentiate themselves in some way. Maybe with unique service or local produce or something else. Be a shame to see them go.nnThey survive due to location, being the only petrol station in the area. That won’t always be the case.
Do not recommend!!nAbsolutely awful, never coming here again. I paid for fuel that never went into my car and when I told the cashier they told me they couldn't do anything about it and wouldn't give me a refund. When I told them they didn't even go and put a sign on the pump to say it's not working.
Do not recommend!nHad an awful experience on 10/06/25 at 7:10-7:15PM.nnFilled up my car and then went in to pay before I tapped my card asked the male colleague if I could have a receipt. He gave me a card receipt and I explained that I needed a VAT receipt and the male colleague then shouted at me saying “I gave you a receipt!” I explained again that he had given me a card receipt not a VAT receipt. He then shoved the VAT receipt at me and shouted again and I told him there was no need to shout at me.nnI will not be filling up here anytime soon due to the unacceptable behaviour from this male colleague.nnOther petrol stations are available nearby that will give a VAT receipt with no issues
Love filling up here. The petrol is always at a great price. They have a coffee station.
Used for the first time, as the price for fuel is now much better than it was, looks like it is under new management, but may be wrong. Easy to access, now competitive on price and would use again.
