I have given 5 Stars because the price is always low, the pump always has fuel when I want to fill up my car the queue isn’t long compared to other petrol stations. When there was fuel shortage a few months ago, this petrol pump station had fuel all day long and even at night time. I have explained below the 5 reasons for 5-star review. 1 - Location: The Petrol station is located at Holmers Farm Way, High Wycombe HP12 4NU. The petrol station has a large forecourt area which has 8 x petrol pumps of Diesel, Unleaded Fuel, and LPG that you have to pay at the kiosk tills where it’s manned by Asda staff. The fuel station also has 4 x 24/7 Pay at the pump with contactless and chip & pin cards. 2 Price: The price is always low in my area and this is one of the closest and most reliable fuel station out of the 12 fuel stations around. 3 Hygiene/Safety: At this pump, they always provide disposable gloves to use while fuelling the vehicles as they are located on the top of each bins at the station. They also provide Sand and Fire Extinguisher at each pump, to help tackle with any fuel spillage and safety of an event of a fire. 4 Different Pumps: 8 Normal Pay at the kiosk counter managed by staff during opening hours. One which is a disabled lower pump for disabled drivers at pump number 6. The petrol station has 4 pumps that you can use a bank card to pay 24/7. 5 Drive Through 24/7: Having 4 pumps available to customer to fuel the car middle of the night is such a bonus. I had to travel and drive down to several hospitals middle of the night for family members and one night I ran out of fuel. As I was driving pass this ASDA Petrol Station, I was so happy to see the petrol station open middle of the night and I was able to use my contactless card to pay for my fuel without any problems. I highly recommend this Asda Petrol Station to friends and family.
All self service, choice of pay 24h at pump or at cashier. Never tried, but it should LGP as well, at least, the pump is there. Prices generally on the more economic side.
Don't bother filling up here on a Sunday afternoon..they close half the forecourts to.. 'cash up' their words, despite the fact the website says its open 24 hours. We arrived at 3:45 and the sole LPG pump was on the closed side. A car literally in front of us had just filled up on LPG and then they closed the pump AS we were trying to fill up. I pleaded with them to to reopen as it wasn't even 4pm. He just looked into space and said 'that's how it is'.. Staff SO rude, they just can't be bothered...
Asda petrol prices are usually the cheapest in my area by around at least 4p per gallon, so it's worth the journey for me to fill up each week. Sometimes they have a couple of pumps that are empty and you may need to queue for a bit.. but what's really frustrating is that they tend to only have 1 pay box open, which means the queue stays out on the road until the cars that have filled can drive through and pay. Not very efficient, so maybe the bosses can organise their staff rotas better soon... especially around the lunchtime and 5pm times!
Lpg supply unreliable & unavailable outside store hours. Petrol price has fallen 25% in recent months... why hasn't lpg moved from historic high?
Filled up twice before 07. 00, no problem using the card only pumps 4 pumps + quick exit behind the 2 cashier buildings, where you pay the cashiers through the window once the other pumps are opened after a certain time where card/ cash payments are made. Site is always clean and tidy, petrol cashiers always friendly, can be hard to find unless you know where Asia store is.
Still charging 17 or 18p per litre more, than you can buy it in small independents. We have to stop thinking of them as cheap, as they are now ripping us off
It's a petrol station what more can be said it has diesel unleaded and autogas Asda like the others are putting prices up and making it difficult for drivers who are battling cost of living and need to drive to get to and from work
Reasonable price and the 24hr pumps are especially useful
The best fuel prices in the UK currently, please keep working to bring them down.
