Really happy to find that the Black Horse is back again. The original pub closed about a decade ago and it's since been inhabited by an expensive burger joint and another restaurant. The new incarnation is a pub/cocktail bar, but you can still enjoy a drink here and admire with ceilings and windows.
Very cool place with nice decor, great ambience and music. The pub downstairs and the cocktails bar upstairs, both of them great! The bartender Chris did a great job serving us, very professional and friendly. He did great drinks for us and is a really good asset for your business. He really made us enjoy the time we were there.
Booked a table on a Friday for drinks with friends ahead of dinner around the corner. Had no idea there was a cocktail bar upstairs! Had our drinks upstairs instead of downstairs in the pub. The wine, cocktails and calm ambience were lovely. I've just booked again for a few weeks' time when we have another dinner across the road. Perfect place for a night out or just a few before going out elsewhere. A really nice find and happy we stumbled across this. Bar staff were super friendly and fast too. Thanks.

Fantastic place, with excellent atmosphere and great drinks. I don’t drink, and non-alcoholic cocktails can sometimes be a bit insipid. Not so here. The bar manager, despite having no non alcoholic cocktail menu, asked us what sort of thing we fancied and then possibly through some sort of sorcery came up with delicious, potent tasting cocktails that you would be hard put to spot an absence of alcohol in. Aside from this, he was funny as hell, an expert host and made us feel extremely welcome in this top notch establishment:

Love this place. A regular pub downstairs and a cocktail bar upstairs. The ambience is perfect; beautiful setting; music not too loud; always a place to sit; well made cocktails by people who know their profession; very attentive and happy staff who make you feel welcome. Please don't change a thing!

Bumped into this pub and thought it was lovely. The staff are really friendly and attentive. They seemed to always know when we needed more drinks or cocktails. This was such a great treat we’ve been back and plan to in future nights out in the Westend. What a great find.
Had an incredible time! All of the staff are super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and couldn't be more accommodating! Highlight was the extremely moorish custom cocktails - definitely making it an after work regular!
