I didn't come to Brighton to eat nachos, but ... these were among the best I've ever had... ever. The bar tender who was full of humor suggested the Nachos and they were right.. more than enough for 3 hungry people. Everyone enjoyed and there was a vegetarian option. The IPA was delicious... good atmosphere, Very enjoyable.
Nachos here are delicious!!!! It was such a pleasant surprise as we were super hungry and just picked a pub at random, but both are meals were epic. The burger was so juice it dropped yum! and the nachos were everything you want in a nachos honestly. Would try again if I was in Brighton! I would recommend sitting inside maybe? There were lots of flies outside
What a GREAT Sunday roast. Every element of it was delicious. It was a nice sunny day so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Great selection of drinks too!
When the whole street is named after your pub you know you’re doing something right. The quality food sign up front lives up to its promise. The views are great and they do have a Biergarten at the back too.
The bartender was rude and made fun of us. The food was average but the wait time was terrible. Do not recommend. The beef roast had 2 slices of meat which is NOT THE VIBE for Sunday roast. Also the glasses were DIRTY and the water was not clean. VERY VERY DISSATISFIED
My husband and I came here for the vegan Sunday roast. We had the filo parcel & nut roast and both were delicious. The only disappointment was the potatoes which were dry and a bit tasteless : but the gravy alone is worth a visit. And the portions are HUGE - we went without dinner tonight!
One portion of fish & chips took one hour to come! The lemon in my drink was old and off! Roof was leaking on my head! Rubbish everywhere! Surprise surprise my fish was frozen!!!!!! Worst meal ever!!! Avoid
Homemade chips where lovely as was the mushy peas. Piece of fish was nice but I had to take the batter off as it's was soggy. £18Food: 4/5
The place has an unique design with a charming vibe. Something different to other pubs. We only tried the drinks but they were good. A bit expensive, but I guess it compensates with the good service and the good experience. They are dog friendly in a more than normal level. Our fluffy boy had a really good time there as well.
As busy at it could get on a Saturday night, mainly outside as there were a lot of smokers. Good crowd in general. Prices are on the high side compared to other places, but I assume they get a pass being open til late. Bar staff could be a bit more careful about serving customers who had a few too many
