Lovely sandy beach with rock pools. Handy cafe and toilet facilities. Free Parking on the road up top of the cliffs and a few steps to get down to beach.. lovely views from the top and viewing benches to sit on up here if you just fancy a stop to enjoy the view or watch the ships passing by on the horizon .
Lots of space but windy, went here from London in early April. It was quite windy and cold. It was fun looking for interesting rocks and shells, but there were no unusual rocks, just interesting forms of chalk and flint. I would recommend going here for the beautiful view and rocks, but if it is not summer take some warm clothes. By the way, the sand was soft and easy to walk on but I would be careful in case you get sand in your shoes. A very good place to go is Broadstairs if you go further you can get to some beautiful green gardens!
Great safe beach, loads of beach huts & beach cafe, toilets are a trek up a many stairs at the top of the cliff. These are all shut through the winter & the beach huts are all removed. The winter months the beach is mainly used by dog walkers dogs not allowed between 10am & 6pm in the summer
A great sandy beach bay! It's usually quite quiet but make sure you come early to get a good parking. It's not wheelchair accessible as there are quite a few steps to go down to the beach. When the tide is further out, it's lovely to swim as there isn't a lot of rocks or seaweed. There's a small cafe along the beach that sells simple foods if you need a coffee or a bite to eat. Good toilet facilities at the top of the stairs.
It's a lovely quiet beach to the left of Broadstairs main beach. It's great for walking dogs and is well sheltered by the chalk cliff tops. Especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset.
Great place for a day out . Nice beach . Lot of attractions for kids also enjoy very much . Beautiful view of limestone cliffs. Good parking space too on road .
Great beach if you want sand and not the crazy packed commercial beach. Very relaxing, nice beach town. Easy parking and access down to the water front. Tide comes quiet early and takes over most of the beach.
Beautiful beach, very quiet , few dog walkers , clean , there are toilets available but closed in winter short walk to local shops , good for photography
A nice sandy beach, dog loved it off-lead. Check the available signage weirdly these signs weren’t with all the other beach signs, but they are there for where the dog can and can’t go depending on time of year
Nice small beach with a slow decline into the sea , with rock pools on kne side of the beach af low tide perfect to go crab hunting, down side this beach is not one that dogs arnt allowed on during the summer so can be a lot of dog walkers in the mornings ,but if you love dogs and taking the dog to the beach then your ok coming here to ....
