"I am a Chartered Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, treating clients for a wide range of Musculoskeletal injuries. I apply manual techniques, teach individualised exercise prescriptions & give advice for self care post treatment. I believe in looking for the root cause of pain or mechanical dysfunction, rather than treating just symptoms. Whilst I treat all parts of the body, I have a special interest in Lumbar and Pelvic Pain Sacro-Iliac Joint, which is often linked to hip and leg pain.I teach Pilates to clients of all ages, qualifying in 2008. Clients often have injuries, conditions or a medical history that make it difficult for them to safely exercise and strengthen their joints etc in general/large exercise classes."

I have a long standing problem with my back and am delighted with the treatment I received from Eleanor. Not only did she resolve the immediate issue but gave me exercises and suggestions which meant that the frequency of it reoccurring has reduced by 80%. Over the years I have seen many physios who have not been able to achieve this. I think the difference is she listens and doesn't assume she know what the problem is. I highly recommend Eleanor.
Your search for a highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable Therapeutic Pilates teacher ends here! Since attending Eleanor's classes I haven't had any back pain, it's been a wonderful relief. Last year I was dreading a 22 hour flight to Sydney but Eleanor kindly gave me a list of exercises to do on the flight and I arrived completely pain free! I was very relieved when she decided to continue classes on line, via Zoom, at the beginning of lockdown. We can all see and hear her clearly and she still doesn't miss any tiny inappropriate movement! She is a remarkable teacher and I very highly recommend her. Don't hesitate, sign up now!
I had a Zoom call with Eleanor to assess the problem, she then went on to explain the exercises I needed to do. Everything was explained to me in easy-to-understand steps and in a very unhurried manner. We had a follow up Zoom the next week, by which time my shoulder was well on the way to recovery. Having been in quite a lot of pain along with very limited movement in my arm/shoulder I can’t tell you how impressed I was with Eleanor’s help and advice.
I have done Pilates with Eleanor for over 5 years now and she has been absolutely fantastic. All the exercises are adapted to you personally and Eleanor concentrates on areas that need help - ie if you have rounded shoulders she works on improving this area. My core is so strong now and my whole body frame has changed , the Pilates has helped me cope physically with a very active life. Thank you Eleanor.
Excellent Physiotherapist and a Pilates instructor! I was experiencing sciatica-like hip pain and was recommended to be seen by Eleanor. She was very knowledgeable and she explained the cause of my pain and the treatment I need clearly. As a follow up, she emailed detailed exercises to prevent reoccurrence. I cannot recommend her enough!
