The train station is generally a good place to catch a ride. However, it's a bit disappointing when it comes to places to sit and relax while waiting. You might find yourself standing around for a while, which can be tiring. A few more shops to browse would also make the wait more bearable. Overall, it's a decent station, but could use some improvements for comfort and entertainment.
Small and nice newly renovated railway station on a main line.
Stoke-on-Trent train station has two platforms and an underpass to cross over. It is under cover so there is shelter from rain, there are also waiting rooms and toilet facilities available. The station is usually very busy during the day and is a manned station so mostly feels safe, though it might depend on the time of day. There are not many benches so you usually need to stand if waiting for a train. There are double red lines surrounding the station and nearby areas so pickups can be challenging.
A nice station but not one of the best, due to not being able to drop people off at the main entrance. Some times the lift does not work so then it is a bit of a challenge with baggage, staff are very helpful.
