I came here with two friends to watch the Drag act, Dame Ida. The act itself was good and the little theatre itself was quite quaint. It was a small venue and no matter where you sat, you were always going to get a good view of the stage area. In fact you could say it was that cosy, you felt part of the act. The team that worked there were fantastic. All very chatty and worked hard to ensure everyone that came through the door was treated well. I will definitely return. Thanks x
Historical location in the heart of Stockport, beautiful 1900’s community theatre. The staff was really welcoming and helpful, we’ve been there for three days shooting a 1940’s movie and without them this wouldn’t have been possible. Interesting archive and props store.
A Bunch Of Amateurs ! Excellent play ,Excellently cast , I was on the front row, So well did ! THE AMERICAN play his part ! I could have got up & hit him , VERY good shift in storyline, I need to get a season ticket next season
Comedy night was pretty good although you need to pay attention at the bar. The staff have no clue what there doing, who is next ,some poor the bottles in to plastic glasses others just give you the bottles Lady next to me at the bar asked for a single vodka and then said it was only a half measure so bit of a argument started so I suggested the barman just poor it back in to the measuring thing It was about half a measure! Bar that pun intended it was a good night comic's were great

Nice, big theatre, but getting a bit old and slightly deteriorated here and there. They have got some lovely shows there, and the tickets are reasonably priced. The insufficient lavatories caused huge lines during intermission when it was full house. Otherwise the facilities are not bad I have to say. Although being old, the decor in this theatre has been considered rather nice, some in antique styles, feeling historic. This is not the topmost performance venue one can find in Greater Manchester, but I won't mind going there again, as long as there some some good shows again! Some renovations to certain aging facilities would be highly appreciated though.
Great atmosphere at the Comedy club. Only downfall were steps down to the theatre, so not great for anyone with mobility issues.
Small friendly old theatre. Needs a refurb but has a charm.
Extremely helpful front of staff, lady and gent, directed us to the car park. It's rare to find such consideration.
Nice little theatre! Looking forward to coming back to see some shows Staging area is a nice size with a decent little bar. For performers there are two backstage areas that have mirrors and seating.
