The plaza is a beautiful little theatre. Very friendly with polite and helpful staff. The viewing is good and the seats are comfortable. The bar is upstairs and is light, with plenty of seating.
Fantastic night last night at the Plaza me and my husband watched the Meatloaf Tribute band they were great 2nd time watching them, the staff are always so friendly here and we always enjoy visiting the Plaza
‼‼‼The worst night of my life was at the Plaza... ‼‼‼‼The rude and disrespectful security force that attacked me at the concert, lied to the police and pretended to be innocent... Their manager was so irresponsible and ignorant that he beat me and my companion. . He threw me out of the hall and also beat my wife. We were innocent and I had bought a legitimate ticket at a high price... This problem happened on the part of their security forces and they gave our seats to other people and this is how they were treated after our protest. Sorry for the rude and irresponsible Plaza manager and staff. If there is a concert here, I will not participate in any way. I will tell everyone about this unfortunate incident and I have filed a complaint against this place so that they understand that women are valuable and women should not be disrespected under any circumstances. I posted pictures that the people who were there and witnessed the incident took from me and my wife and sent to us.. I feel sorry for you and the awful team who have no humanity
This is an outstanding old cinema with the old fashioned seating plan but what a spectacular place it is. We attended a wedding there & it was such a different setting from the norm.
We had a lovely, "Beside the Seaside " afternoon tea. The food was good and the entertainment was better than we had expected. The trio who sang for us had voices worthy of the West-end and we all enjoyed the singalong.
Hi, I was here at the concert on July 12th. The hall was very awful. Sekuriti treated us very badly. I had a ticket. I bought it from the Polk website, but they told me that your ticket was fake and someone else was sitting in my seat. Sekuriti disrespectfully threw out my father there. There was no order, everything was very bad and I complained to them
Great venue. Here for tonight’s Pink Floyd Experience gig. Theatre is amazing. The building is Art Deco. Definitely coming back here soon.
We have visited the Plaza a number of times over the years, this is a lovely well kept theatre I absolutely love the inside with it's art deco features. Staff are friendly and helpful asking people do they know where to go. Whilst we was there I booked another show at the booking office, quick and easy transaction saving on online booking fees. Upstairs Cafe/bar is nice and clean has plenty of tables. The downstairs bar doesn't have as much room, the bars don't have a great selection of drinks and are highly priced £5 for a can of Carling. The toilets leading from the bar are spotlessly clean. The seats in the theatre give a great view to the stage as we have sat in the stalls and circle.
I try to love it because it's an old building and is run by volunteers but I do think it's tired looking, especially the bar but then I've never really liked art deco. The shows that I have seen are always very good and there is always a great atmosphere.
Went to watch Dolly Parton, brilliant show great atmosphere and staff were helpful and professional. Lot more relaxed than Bridgewater Hall
