This is my first visit to Stir Coffee, and it won’t be my last. From the moment you step across the threshold, you know you’ve arrived at a great cafe - the vibe pulls you in. The music. The decor. The great smell of high quality coffee. The selection of food. The staff. I ordered the Parma ham sandwich- rosemary focaccia bread, pesto, rocket, cheese, tomato, Parma ham. Utterly delicious. I ate it so fast, my camera’s shutter wasn’t fast enough to capture the sandwich before I devoured it. So, I went up to the counter and snapped a picture of one of the sandwiches in the case.
Amazing spot, really friendly & welcoming - dogs & children are positively encouraged. Top choice of drinks & snacks - the vegan roll is just amazingly tasty. I'd choose this place over a multiple any day.
This dog is showing you this is the best place in the world. Not only is it in Brixton, it’s also run by caring lovely and interesting people. The coffee speaks for its self, it must be good, check out the dog smiling, happy owner = happy dog!
Lovely coffee shop! The coffee is amazing- the best in Brixton. They also have matcha lattes which are exquisite. Great atmosphere. Perfect for a meetup with a friend or working in a cafe for the day.Food: 5/5
Nice place with a bacis décor and a homely feel. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Has a very strong lefty vibe, which may not be to everyone's taste. But it's a very cool place, if that's your territory.Food: 3/5
This little local gem is one of the best cafés ever. Consistently amazing coffee, lovely staff, tasty pastries, great atmosphere. My go to whenever I want to treat myself!Food: 5/5
Very nice coffee from Assembly. Small place, clean toilet, very good wifi. You will find good quality beer . Latte cost £ 2.70. Friendly people, clean tables with nice flowers . You will find all kind spoons inside.
When an coffee shop won’t go larger than an 8oz serving you know they care about their coffee : A shabby chic styled cafe with a friendly laidback atmosphere that is obviously very popular with a loyal local following. Great range of coffees to buy mainly from the Mission Coffee works. The milk is, Estate Dairy and created specifically for baristas - It’s delicious The main expresso roast I tried was full bodied, smooth and full of chocolate notes. There’s a range of tasty cakes on offer and I tried one of the artisan sandwiches - the haloumi and guacamole bun which toasted was delicious. Prices are good for London and there’s plenty of seating including some quirky old church pews.
Great Stout cake. Good sausage roll but pastry bit limp. Cappuccino was pretty flat and weak. Batch filter was fine but hardly memorable
This is not just a coffee place. It's your recharge station on a hectic Monday morning; it's your cozy office on a drizzly Friday; it's where friends old and new come to relax, unwind, and reconnect; it's where life stories are shared, and new stories written; it's your local employment agency, matchmaking service, and language school. This is not just a coffee place. It's what life is on this side of Brixton.
