Stick or Twist has become my favorite place to eat. I go there and I am able to sit for an hour or two without feeling rushed. The staff are polite and the service is fast. I appreciate the free refills on the hot drinks. Great place, fantastic all round meals from the steak to the boneless basket. Their opening hours is a plus too.
Really good and spacious Wetherspoons. Comfortable inside, with lots of seating. Fast, efficient service from nice enough staff. Food ok, but annoyingly, luke warm chips!
I had been going to this bar for years before it closing so lovely to see it back. I love the open planned kitchen where you can see food been cooked. Never had a bad meal from here. I love the layout of it. It looks so much bigger than it used to and its nice start up pub to meet up with everyone. Always great deals on
FOH bar staff Staff very welcoming & friendly. Ordered 6oz Amcheese & Katsu Curry, burger arrived without cheese so asked for missing cheese, plate taken & returned with only 1 slice added. Try to speak to staff that returned with plate & they just ignored as if they did not understand English or was just plain deaf. They paid no attention & walked away If I am correct 1 slice on 3oz & 2 slices on 6oz. Katsu arrived with approx. 1 whole sliced chilli scattered on top. Luckily customer didn't mind the load of chilli`s. Chips on burger portion more like a 3oz serving & almost cold. Could tell they were cooked previously & kept under a light they could have re-dunked them. Also pub was not busy so no excuse for kitchen staff, seemed to spend more time talking to floor staff. If I was a secret diner from head office BOH would not be amused. Luckily 3 stars given due to FOH. BOH Kitchen staff need to pay more attention to SOP`s & Specs Portioning's etc.
Reasonable spoons . We only had drinks in here . Nice atmosphere not loud or rowdy customers . Staff seemed nice enough and speedy service . They have an lovely outside area thats the nicest of seen in a spoons . Decent
Was taken here by my friend for lunch. Food was lovely & great price,clean & very friendly people. Will definitely come back again.
Good pizza and beer. Very quick to serve via the Werherspoons app. Polite staff. I'd just say that you ought to provide a fork with the knife as standard for the pizza or ask customers in the same way that eating the maple syrup pancakes would be easier with a fork rather than just a spoon ;
I like going in this pub cos I remember when it was a casino with Cinderella Rockerfeller above it. Now all that has changed and a bloody great tower block stands on the site. Not had a bad meal yet and the environment is bright and airy and the clientele always friendly.
Massive Wetherspoons. Absolutely packed but service was relatively fast and prices as always cheaper than many rivals. Gets really busy when they are events at the First Direct Arena next door.
Disappointed as we love spoons but this was awful. Ordered burger meals and they arrived luke warm buns were very dry and tiny portions. It was really busy so we decided to just finish and leave but it was not what spoons normally produce. Do better!
