Great chips, big portions and good value for money. Loved the mushy peas too, really really nice flavor. Slightly disappointed that the wrapped up chips are in polystyrene trays which can make for a soggy chip or two by the time you get back home.
Had 3× fish 1x chips and a small peas last week chips were cold just ordered again same order to give them benefit of the doubt but all was really cold had to microwave before we could eat Never again...Rubbish

ORDERED ON JUST EAT APP AND MY ORDER NEVER ARRIVED IT WAS FOR A ELDERLY COUPLE THAT HAD NOTHING TO EAT ON THE APP IT SAYS DELIVERED BUT IT NEVER CAME £18,23 wasted never using just eat again
The staff are friendly, the food is to die for. The kebabs are beutiful made by the owner himself the chicken is moist marinated well and you can tell theres been attention put in to every little aspect. The fish and chips the other half the fish was fried to percection and greasy at all, the chips where nice and crispy and plenty of the fish and chip!. Cheers! Will be back again!
Me and my Partner went to The Golden Cod last night, and we'll definitely be returning! This is a bold statement, but they were the best Chips I've ever had, and very generous portion sizes. I also had a Battered Sausage which was light and delicious, as opposed to some Chippies where it can be greasy and heavy. Absolutely gorgeous food and lovely, welcoming service... Thank you, I'll definitely be back!
First time I’ve ordered from here, I got a mid afternoon delivery, it was within 30 minutes and on time. The food, £20’s worth, was fantastic, 4 empty plates, not a scrap left. I’ll definitely order from this chippy again.
Proper Yorkshire fish cakes! Hubby is from Sheffield and has been looking everywhere for a “proper” fish cake. His face says it all. Thank you It’s called a Scollop fish cake.
Ordered off you loads of times but not happy my scampi was over cooked and not edible and the price was different from the shop you charged more for peas,curry and gravy because I wanted it delivered Terrible food and service a ripoff Avoid this chippy
Because of lockdown, ordered through just eat app..food came quickly and still hot, a proper fish supper, just what you need in isolation......delivery guy was really polite and a lovely older chap...saying enjoy your meal as he left. Food was great, will definately order from here again
