Worst food from a chippy I've ever had, took an hour and 45 mins to be delivered. After an hour the delivery driver called to say he was outside, he wasn't, he had put the wrong postcode in his satnav and was a 30 min drive away. Food had steamed in boxes and everything was soggy, the can of drink was hot and my ice cream was melted, complete waste of £25. Will never use them again.
Not very pleasant service, every time owner have face one. Trying to help local businesses but not worth it. Food: 1/5
Good service, price's have hone up with high energy prices, which is expected. Great treat though will definitely return in the future.Food: 4/5
The worst fish and chips I've ever eaten chips were cold fish under cooked threw most of it away
Ordered in the shop then waited, and waited, and waited. 30 minutes later I asked for a refund as several people had come in, ordered and been served. Harry rushed around the counter told me to sit down and get a can of pop, I told him I did not want pop so he offered water, I said no to this also. He then tried to tell me that all the people served before me had pre-ordered but I heard at least 2 order. I then had to wait another 10 minutes for my fish to be cooked! It wasn't the worst fish n chips we ever had, but certainly not worth the wait. With 4 people behind the counter service should be much better, and yes I have worked in the catering industry so I know what I'm talking about.
We ordered fish and chips from here because they deliver. It was 5.40 I think for the fish and chips. They were pretty good.
Absolutely horrible, under cooked half raw chips, a fish with more batter than fish, disgusting !!!! Keep away !!!!
The best fish and chips I've had in years got 3 fish two chips for me and mum and dad didn't open second box of chips which I could give 6 stars
Ordered food, received that have delay, waited extra time about 50 min on last minute received - my order canceled. Absolutely disgusting…
Used to like it here but the batter is always soggy lately, the don't have chips ready so have to wait even if you only want a portion of chips, and last time I visited the chips were underdone, the centres were still firm but with mushy outside and tasted as though bad potatoes may have been used. Don't think I'll be visiting again, especially since there are much nicer places
