Wonderful character filled accommodation, friendly service and a great location. Ballyholme Beach is only a few steps from the door step with coastal walks and a variety of restaurants and pubs nearby. Highly recommended.Rooms: 5/5
The best brioche french toast I've ever had.served with bacon, banana ,maple syrup and vanilla creme.fraiche .beautifully presented.cappuccino was quite cold but the waitress quickly brought hot water and milk to the table.fantastic views over ballyholme beach.
A great B&B Hotel with a great location overlooking the unspoiled beach and bay. An old fashioned hotel with eccentric décor with all the rooms different. Just the tonic after a night at the Premier Inn. The breakfast in the morning as a treat and freshly cooked. The hotel also served breakfast to walking people and there was quite a line of those waiting to be seated bears witness to the quality of the service and food provided including snacks and lunches.
We stayed for one night, but wish it was longer. Great views, fabulous decor, friendly staff, very clean and amazing breakfast. We would highly recommendRooms: 5/5
Very quirky but in a nice way. I went with a walking group. We sat outside as there were two dogs with the group. The service was a bit slow and we felt a bit overlooked, being outside. Not being shy we soon got attended. Even the dogs got some water and free bacon bits, a nice touch. Scones and coffee were good. I had the filter coffee with free refills. On my first refill I had to go inside to find it but the waitress was kind enough to fill up a coffee pot for a third cup without the hassle of me going back inside. There is only one toilet which can be a bit inconvenient. A short distance across the green there is a public toilet which I used after leaving. All in all I'd recommend it, as long as you don't mind mucking in to get attention.
Amazing food and well priced with a menu that will pleasently suprise all. Good friendly service. Ideally located overlooking the beach you can sit outside or in. More seating area at the back Would and have recommended Cairn Bay Lodge.
Lovely food - and helpful staff
Great place to stay , across the road from beach and walking paths which take you into town and nearby pub to get get foodRooms: 5/5
Excellent breakfast today, couldn't choose between the lovely porridge or Copeland's Crab with scrambled eggs, so had both. My sister also enjoyed her breakfast. Lovely latte, then moved on to filter coffee with a refill. Very friendly staff team. Home feel. And expect.it to be busy some days by midmorning. Recommended for a treat.
I didn't stay here, just had lunch which was delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the fabulous view over Ballyholme Bay.
