The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! As a minority in the area, our needs were met and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The staff literally made our day and experience in Kent 10x better. Amazing!
Delicious food - really enjoyed the samosas and chicken curry! Tasty, flavorful and well made. The staff are also very friendly and kind and I had a lovely time chatting with them. A real gem!
Just had a delicious meal at the Star of Bengal. The food was delicious and service very attentive. Glad we decided not to have the pub grub and a pint we were thinking of! Thoroughly recommended
We reached there by 1pm and the waiter told us it’s closed and chef is gone, so we were about to leave but this other guyhis brother apparently came and told us we can sit and he will make us the item we asked forbiryani This other customer with a dog came inside and the manager really talked disrespectfully and had an argument with him, and then he and his brother started shouting loudly inside the kitchen leaving us really uncomfortable so we had no choice just to leave there asap as it felt a bit dangerous as their fight was getting escalated. Would not recommend going there, and a strict no if you’re a dog owner.
Such a great local Indian restaurant. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, and the food is always so good! Would recommend this place to anyone.
Food is really nice from here, takeaway and eating in. Used for few years now and not had a bad meal. Nothing special to look at but comfy enough and friendly service Kid-friendliness: Staff always friendly and chatty with my girls who are 7 and 13 Parking: Limited parking round the back but plenty of car parks within few mins walk or side roads if you don't mind 10 min walk.
Food was actually really good but we all know that the best compliment to a curry is an ice cold crisp beer and the Draft Cobra was WARM and FLAT I asked for a replacement also WARM/ FLAT didn’t even drink it we also asked for a reduction due to the very WARM FLAT beer which they declined , restaurant given the current pandemic was very cosy ie lots of tables and customers close together staff were running around and kinda nonchalant will I come back , probably not.. they probably don’t care about repeat business due to the flow of tourists to whitstable , shame...
What an amazing restaurant. The venue was so busy but they found a table with no trouble. The food was served hot and was extremely nice. We travelled up from hastings and would definitely recommend. We will certainly be back thankyou
Took a chance despite some of the poor reviews however food was lovely , polite service, good atmosphere will go again . Toilets could do with a lick of paint to smarten them up .We'll worth a visit though.
The food was probably the worst indian meal I have ever had and believe me I've had some bad ones, I had a chefs special which looked like the left over scrappings of someone else's meal. Won't be recommending or using again.
