Outstanding! Food was just the nicest Chinese food I have eaten! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back and try some more food from the menu!
Friendly owner and a lovely atmosphere. Easy to get to with parking to the rear. A lovely range of food is on offer, from the classics to some fancier dishes. There's some nicely thought out banquets with a good variety of meals and the owner is always accommodating. It's a nice place for a quiet date or a work night out!
Absolutely fantastic restaurant, the food was amazing and the service was exceptional. Greeted warmly and then looked after brilliantly from minute 1. Would 100% recommend a visit
Went as a slightly drunk table of 8 and ordered the banquet. The food was really good. The young girl who served us was really friendly and delt with us perfectly. I'd definitely recommend a visit.Food: 5/5
I went here with my family for my bday celebrations after reading all the positive reviews and wished I’d never went. The owner, Stanley was arrogant and just seemed plain rude from the moment we walked in. We went there with our young children, oldest was 12 and the youngest was 3 and as soon as he saw us, his face just turned sour. My children throughout the night were very well behaved but it did seem like we were walking around egg shells every time my 3 year old started talking in case it upset the owner. The atmosphere was unpleasant and I felt awful just being there and even at one point saying to my husband we should just walk out after the starters. Overall the food was nice but the atmosphere and welcome we received was awful. Never had this experience in a restaurant before.
Nice food and good service although it started to suffer when it got busy as there was the possible owner and one lady serving. Would recommend this restaurant just go a bit earlier before it fills up.Food: 5/5
Took the family to Stanley’s restaurant tonight to celebrate my daughter’s 50th birthday and l must say the food was excellent all round and also the service was first class ! And to be honest the price was very reasonable too so l will definitely be returning again and thank you Stanley, well done . Great night. Vegetarian options: Just request what you want and they were very obliging, Parking: Lots of parking spots . Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access for wheelchairs and parking at the rear .
If you want Basil Faulty service at rip off prices then this is the place for you. Felt sorry for his staff had to smuggle a sympathy tip to them out of sight of owner who has zero idea of customer service. The food is just ok and I can only think people go here for comedy value.
The food here is always good. We have been on many occasions over the years. I rang the restaurant to book and to explain it was my mother in laws 85th birthday and that she would be in a mobility scooter. I asked if they could accommodate and they said yes. We were greeted by Stanley himself who took the booking, he was rude and abrupt with us, saying that he was busy and the table he booked for us was in the far cornerand the chair wouldn't get through ! The restaurant is great, Caroline is fab with customers as is his staff, but Stanley made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
Had a great evening, every member of staff was lovely, food was delightful. Would definitely go againFood: 5/5
