Close to Altrincham town centre and Altrincham market. Parking charge is reasonable with quite a lot of parking space available. However, the traffic is quite busy that you need to take extra care inside the car park. Besides, the parking space is quite narrow and condensed. New drivers must be very careful here
I had an extremely disappointing experience with a staff member during my recent visit. After paying at the pay station, I encountered an issue at the barrier, where it wouldn't register my payment, preventing me from leaving. I pressed the help button and waited for about 5 minutes before a staff member finally responded.nnInstead of assisting me, the staff member immediately challenged my payment, questioning whether I had actually paid. He demanded to know the amount and insisted that I read out what was displayed on the nearby pay machine, all in a very rude,argumentative and confrontational tone. Despite explaining that my banking app clearly showed the payment had been made approximately 5 minutes earlier, he continued to accuse me of not paying.nnEventually, he changed his mind and stated that he had cancelled the token so I could leave, but there was no apology offered for the inconvenience or his behaviour. I was shocked by the poor level of service and the way I was treated, I will not be parking here in future.
Nice location, reasonably priced, only bug bear is the stupidly long traffic light system which seems to be on red for a long long time...usually it is best to park on the upper floors where it's much quieter and when you get back to your car you can use the much quieter token machines on the upper floors
One of the most over-complicated car parks I've ever seen. Someone was obviously having a mental breakdown when they designed this.
Plenty space for parking.nThe parking rates are decent. And exits right into the Altrincham market.
