Poorly designed and badly signed car park. The closing times are displayed on the gate, but when the gate is open the sign is hidden against the wall, so you can’t see the hours when driving in. I only found out after parking that it closed at 11:30pm. I had to leave my film 45 mins early to avoid getting locked in and didn’t dare move the car again in case I got fined. Very stressful experience and completely avoidable with proper signage.
Update 15/11/25 - had a nice evening at the cinema tonight and the film finished around 2245, I didn't park in goose green because I read other reviews stating the carpark closes early and I didn't want to risk my car being blocked. But I can happily report the carpark was still open when I came out of the cinema and next time I won't hesitate to park there.nnI have never had any issues using this carpark, it's my first choice when looking to drive into Altrincham. And I always pay using the Ringo App.
Please don’t park here. Both machines on the ground floor have been out of order for months. The car park attendant didn’t answer the phone. I paid online when I got home and still got a £60 charge. I appealed and provided proof of payment but they still charged me.
Ive paid on ring go, people are complaining about the lack of information, if i get a fine i come back here and report.nnThere is a VUE parking on the left of the VUe building, park there, I belive there is no issues.
Don’t park here. The only car park in altrincham to close and lock you in!!!! Lots of other options.nVue Cinema has a car park around the back. Goose green car park will close at 10:30pm or earlier and lock you in. You can pay via the RingGo app for extra time until 6am or later if you’re locked in and collect car in the morning. But after a late film - not fun.
